This research aims to develop decision support system in determining the best production unit in PDAM Tirta Lihou, Simalungun District. The research data were sourced from the institution in 2014. The alternatives used were 34 units of production and 6 criteria as the ranking of the best production unit such as the criteria for selling of water supply (C1), evaluation of arrears achieved (C2), evaluation of leakage rate (C3), running bill evaluation (C4), number of new customers (C5) and sales / use of water per customer (C6). The method used in this research was Promethee. The research showed that the best unit in PDAM Tirta Lihou was the Tanah Jawa unit with Net Flow 0.16274. With this system, agency leaders can produce a better decision to select the best unit in a more objective way.
The purpose of this study can predict the feasibility of the location of the development of clean water sources in the Tirta Lihou PDAM using the Naive Bayes algorithm. With the increasing number of MBR (Low-Income Communities) that enter each year in each region, the Tirta Lihou PDAM plans to find alternative springs solutions for several production units so that they can meet the needs of the community. In determining the appropriate alternative sources of clean water in several production units, the datamining method is used. By using data mining techniques specifically classification using the Naive Bayes algorithm, predictions can be made on the feasibility of the location of the construction of clean water sources based on existing data. Naive bayes is a simple probabilistic prediction technique based on the Bayes theorem with a strong assumption of independence (dependence). Based on the results of calculations using algoritma naive bayes, the clasification results from 19 alternatives used, where there are 8 feasible classes and 11 classes are not feasible with the number of accuracy obtained at 78,95%. From the results obtained, it is expected that this research can help the PDAM Tirta Lihou in determining the location that is feasible to develop water sources so that it can meet the needs of the community. This research is also expected to be a reference for further researchers relating to the user algorithm used.
Transportation plays an important role in helping every community activity and also has an important function in economic, social and developmental development. Online transportation provides alternative transportation solutions in the middle of the density of vehicles to be fast and able to reach places that are likely to be inaccessible to other public vehicles. People who usually use public transport or conventional taxi services have begun to switch to online-based taxis that are considered cheaper and more practical. Market research institutes in Southeast Asia show that 250 million Indonesians are quickly adapting the growth of application-based transportation (taxis and ojek online) to facilitate their lives. Various factors that influence people prefer online transportation compared to public transport or conventional taxis. The purpose of the study is to determine the main factors that people prefer to use Oline transportation. The study used the VIKOR method system which obtained the results based on the VIKOR index value where alternative A1: Easy and Safe (VIKOR index value 0) as a rank one and alternative A2: Price (VIKOR index value 0.1809520) as the second rank.
Every educational institution whether it school or university which is vocational based definitely requires student university to conduct field practice, not excepted to STIKOM Tunas Bangsa Pematangsiantar. LPPM STIKOM Tunas Bangsa is one institution which manage activity in research and dedication to the society and become a place for the lectures of STIKOM Tunas Bangsa to develops the knowledge that they have based on the each of the knowledge discipline through research field. Recrurtment activities of PKL Students in LPPM STIKOM Tunas Bangsa STILL DONE MANUALLY, SO IT COULD HAPPEN TO BE A MISTAKE (human error) in choosing the student of PKL. The method which is used in the research is Promethee. Based on calculation that is done, there are two student who is deserve to be conduct PKL in LPPM, They are student 2 and 4 Which is based on the highest net flow value using promethee. The purpose of this research is to assist the LPPM in determining the students who will be street vendors in LPPM. This research is expected to assist LPPM in recruiting student PKL.
