The purpose of this study is to find out how the storynomics tourism approach can be used as an effective tourism marketing destination. In this case, Tangkuban Parahu in West Java, Indonesia. Tangkuban Parahu has historical and folklore values that are trusted by the wider community so that this will build the branding power of the destination. The challenge is how this message can be conveyed to tourists not only convey the value of myth but also packaged in other forms so as to provide educational value to each visitor. The research method used is qualitative descriptive. Data collection is done through observation, documentation, and interviews. The results show that the storynomics approach can be used as an effective strategy in marketing the Tangkuban Parahu destination, which can indirectly increase interest in visiting the place.
ABSTRAK Pada dasarnya pengembangan pariwisata tidak terlepas dari peran masyarakat di sekitarnya. Dukungan dan peran serta masyarakat sangat diperlukan untuk sebuah pengembangan suatu kawasan wisata dan daya tarik wisata. Penelitian ini dilakukan di kawasan wisata Desa Kertawangi, Cisarua Kabupaten bandung Barat. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengembangan kawasan wisata di Desa Kertawangi dan persepsi masyarakat terhadap pengembangan suatu kawasan wisata. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, kawasan wisata yang menawarkan daya tarik wisata tentu membutuhkan aspek-aspek dalam pengembangannya. Aspek-aspek tersebut adalah dengan pengembangan aktivitas dan daya tarik wistanya, trasportasi, akomodasi, elemen kelembagaan, insfrastuktur, dan pelayanan fasilitas wisata. Selain pengembangan, kemajuan dan kesejahteraan masyarakat menjadi penentu sebuah persepsi baik dari masyarakat. Peneliti menggunakan metode kombinasi melalui metode kualitatif sebagai metode primer dan metode kuantitatif sebagai metode sekunder. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan kawasan wisata di Desa Kertawangi sudah berjalan dengan baik, hal tersebut dilihat dari berbagai aspek yang telah dikaji melalui observasi dan wawancara. Persepsi masyarakat mengenai kawasan wisata yang ada di sekitar daerah tempat tinggal mereka juga sudah baik, dilihat dari adanya peningkatan pendapatan masyarakat dan peluang usaha bagi masyarakat serta menambah lapangan pekerjaan namun belum signifikan. The community support and participation are needed for the development of a tourist area and tourist attraction. This research was conducted in the tourist area of Kertawangi Village, Cisarua, West Bandung Regency. The purpose of this study was to determine the development of tourist areas in Kertawangi Village and community perceptions of the development of a tourist area. That development, tourist areas that offer tourist attraction certainly need aspects in its development. These aspects are by developing activities and attractiveness of time, transportation, accommodation, institutional elements, infrastructure, and tourism facilities. In addition to development, progress and welfare of the community is a determinant of a good perception of the community. The researcher used a mix method through qualitative methods as primary methods and quantitative methods as secondary methods. The results of the study show that the development of tourist areas in Kertawangi Village has been going well, it is seen from various aspects that have been studied through observation and interviews. Community perceptions of tourist areas around their area of residence have also been good, seen from the increasing the community income and business opportunities for the community and increasing employment opportunities. ABSTRAKDesa Cibuntu merupakan salah satu Desa Wisata yang ada di Kabupaten Kuningan dan menjadi prioritas jangka panjang pembangun Provinsi Jawa Barat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menggali potensi wisata di Desa Wisata Cibuntu serta membantu dalam upaya peningkatan pemberdayaan masyarakat sehingga masyarakat akan merasakan dampak positif dengan adanya pengembangan Desa Wisata tersebut. Dampak yang diharapkan dari pemberdayaan tersebut tidak hanya berdampak secara ekonomi namum juga secara sosial dan budaya. Dengan demikian pembangunan bariwisata yang berorientasi pada masyarakat tersebut akan menjadikan pariwisata yang berkelanjutan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data meliputi kegiatan wawancara, observasi dan kajian literatur yang kemudian dapat ditindaklanjuti dengan kegiatan Fokus Grup Diskusi. Kegiatan penelitian akan melibatkan pemerintah, swasta (industri), asosiasi, masyarakat (petani, seniman/budayawan, pengelola desa, pemilik homestay serta kelompok penggerak pariwisata) serta pihak-pihak lain yang memiliki keterkaitan erat dalam pengembangan Desa Wisata Tersebut. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengembangan desa wisata di Cibuntu belum dapat dikatakan optimal dengan belum terbangunnya sinergitas antara masyarakat dan pemerintah. Dengan demikian pola pemberdayaan berkelanjutan di Desa Cibuntu masih memerlukan dorongan yang kuat. The expected impact of empowerment does not only affect economically but also socially and culturally. Thus the development of community-oriented tourism will make sustainable tourism.The research method used is qualitative descriptive with data collection techniques including interviews, observation and literature review which can then be followed up with the Focus Group Discussion activity. Research activities will involve the government, private (industry), associations, communities (farmers, artists/ cultural observers, village managers, homestay owners and tourism activists) as well as other parties that have close links in the development of the Tourism Village. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the development of tourist villages in Cibuntu cannot be said to be optimal with the lack of synergy between the community and the government.
