Pendekatan STEAM atau Science, Technology, Engineering, Art dan Mathematic merupakan pendekatan pembelajaran yang dikembangkan pada PAUD. STEAM menajdi pendekatan yang sesuai bagi anak usia dini dikarenakan pendekatan ini mampu mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir kritis, kreatif, dan menumbuhkan kemampuan problem solving. Tujuan penelitian adalah mendeskripsikan pemahaman calon guru profesional terkait pendekatan STEAM. Penelitian dilakukan dengan survey cross-sectional. Populasi dalam penelitian adalah 1183 mahasiswa. Responden dalam penelitian sejumlah 140 mahasiswa dan diambil menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dengan kriteria mahasiswa PPG DALJAB bidang studi PAUD, aktif selama PPG, menggunakan STEAM. Data diperoleh menggunakan kuesioner melalui Gform, disebarkan dengan aplikasi Whats App Group. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan pemahaman mahasiswa terkait pendekatan STEAM terdiri dari intepretasi, unsur, contoh, pengembangan, pembuktian menunjukkan pemahaman sangat baik dan tepat terutama pada aspek pengembangan dengan pemanfaatan loose part, salah satu media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan. Namun pada unsur STEAM yaitu technology dan mathematic sebagian kecil mahasiswa memiliki pemahaman sesuai dengan konsep STEAM.
The topic of electric and magnetic fields is fundamental to the physics curriculum in both high school and college. The applied aspect of this topic has triggered the rapid development of modern technology in this era. This paper reported a remote data acquisition system developed for experiments with magnetic fields by coils to support experimental physics learning remotely. The system used magnetic sensors, Arduino interfaces, and NI-Vernier Sensor-DAQ and LabVIEW as a data acquisition software. It was successful in testing for and measuring the distribution of magnetic fields along the axis of a circular coil. The measurement results showed experimental values in line with Biot–Savart law. The system developed is therefore useful as a learning tool that provides students with the opportunity to control instruments and conduct experiments in real-time remotely via the web. This system is also useful for overcoming the limited access to experimental devices.
Abstract:Panggon Lunjak (trampoline) is one of the famous amusement parks among the people that we can use as a recreation to enjoy a pleasant sensation. Without us knowing the amusement park that we often encounter is actually the result of the application of science and technology, especially in the field of physics, because it is amusement park for student of science is a real laboratory or the giant laboratory that we can use as a study of physics concepts and as research materials. Panggon Lunjak (trampoline) motion is very close to the harmonic motion where the resulting graph of the sinus so that on the graph will be in the analysis of kinematics and energy phenomena, so that research on simple harmonic motion materials is not limited to research using pendulum motion and spring load motion which is often exemplified as research on harmonic motion. The purpose of this study is to analyze the physical aspects of Panggon Lunjak (trampoline) motion based on the laws of physics on the concept of kinematics and analyze energy, Where the mechanical energy of addition between potential energy and kinetic energy (Conservation of energy). The analysis is done by using video tracking. Based on the analysis done using people as a mass, the result of the amplitude, the spring constant, angular frequency, and the law of conservation of energy on the Panggon Lunjak (trampoline) is true. This analysis activity will be well used as a physics learning for students.
Facing the 4.0 Industrial Revolution in education is done by preparing human resources that have critical thinking skills and problem solvers, communication and collaborative skills, creativity and innovative thinking, and literacy of Information and communication technology. This research aims to know the extent of teachers at ECE in the of computer literacy based on their duties and responsibilities as educators in the learning process. This research is using the mixing method (quantitative and qualitative) approach with data collection instruments in the form of questionnaires and interviews. Analysis of the data used is a descriptive analysis deduction, namely analyzing and providing an interpretation of the collected data than needed studies. The subject of this study involved 58 professional certified teachers and had participated in training on ICT topics. The results showed that the level of readiness of teachers in the computer literacy on the readiness of supporting factors is to have a laptop and the basic skills of the applications in the form of MS office (words, PPT, Excel) and search engines only to support they working in organizing the learning administration. The teacher should be mastering of ICT as part of computer literacy including research activities, organizing, evaluating, communicating information, and understanding the rules of use of information and communication technology.
