The histological exam confirmed the radical surgical excision of the basal cell carcinoma. In the clinical case we presented, the choice of an island flap mobilized from the region adjoining the eyelid outer canthus has proved itself excellent, because it allows the use of skin which is very similar in texture and colour to the one removed (Fig. 2).In a relatively simple surgical session, the flap was deeply undermined in order to obtain a better mobility; its medial edge was shaped to correct the tissue defect of the eyelids and simultaneously to re-create a natural, although not complete from an anatomical point of view, outer canthus.

Surgical and non-surgical procedures for the correction of Stahl's ear anomaly, more commonly found in Oriental races, are presented. The final postoperative appearance is aesthetically pleasing, acceptable, and encouraging to the patient with this deformity.
