Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendiskripsikan kinerja pedagogik, kondisi lingkungan, minat kerja, dan hasil belajar siswa SMK, dan mengetahui besarnya pengaruh kinerja pedagogik dan kondisi lingkungan terhadap minat kerja serta dampaknya pada hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian menggunakan rancangan deskriptif kuantitatif, menggunakan proporsional random sampling, responden berjumlah 61 siswa. Analisis data menggunakan deskriptif dan uji hipotesis dengan analisis jalur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kinerja pedagogik, kondisi lingkungan, hasil belajar adalah kategori baik. Minat kerja adalah sangat baik. Hasil uji hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat pengaruh antara kinerja pedagogik maupun kondisi lingkungan dengan minat kerja. Sementara secara simultan terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara kinerja pedagogik, lingkungan belajar, dan minat kerja dengan hasil belajar siswa. Kata-kata Kunci: kinerja pedagogik, kondisi lingkungan, minat kerja, hasil belajar siswa Abstract: The Effect of Pedagogic Performance and Environmental Conditions on the Work Interests and Learning Achievement of Vocational High School Students.This study aimed to describe pedagogic performance, environmental conditions, work interests, and learning achievement of SMK students and to investigate the effect of pedagogical performance and environmental conditions on work interests and students learning achievement. This study was a quantitative descriptive research using proportional random sampling to select 61 respondents. Data were analyzed by descriptive and path analysis. The results showed that pedagogic performance, environmental condition, and students learning achievement were good category), and work interest was very good category. Hypothesis test showed that there is no influence of the pedagogic performance and environmental condition on work interest. Then, there is a significant influence of pedagogic performance, learning environment, and work interest on student achievement.
The shaking of the surface of the Earth is what is known as an earthquake; its effects can span a wide area and cause such damage as to result in the total collapse of buildings. It is essential to improve the construction industry to protect buildings from disaster. However, construction development is costly. Therefore, this article focuses mainly on creating an earthquake-resistant construction model using Virtual Reality (VR), which offers its users new ways to improve knowledge transfer and communication. There were three stages in generating this model: pre-development, development, and post-development. These stages include a needs assessment, planning, initial development, validation, analysis and evaluation, and field testing. In the post-development stage, the model was then tested by civil engineering students, and a statistical analysis was used to evaluate the implementation of VR. The VR was developed to assist civil engineering students while fostering their interest in information technology. The results indicated that the VR-based application had a favorable and significant effect on learning. In addition, the mean score of 17.3 showed an improvement in average score for the VR-based application compared to traditional education. Integration of VR into civil engineering education can statistically improve learning outcomes, particularly regarding the construction of earthquake-resistant buildings.
The purposes of long-term development, (1) are expected to be able to answer the needs and challenges of the development in the field of engineering, information technology, and the industry in the future; (2) have the capability to compete. The competency development of engineers' expertise is, namely, building a culture of thinking, being a strong character in competing, and minded individuals in supporting the development of construction industry comprehensively. In addition, the development rises to the mentality of confidence, nature of disciplined, responsible , oriented on the quality and quality as well as participate in the development of the construction industry. The next contribution of Indonesian engineers is to be able to compete at the national, regional, and global level. The special targets: (1) the analysis needs of competency development of Engineer expertise; (2) designing and developing competency model of Engineer's profession skill.This research employed the research and development framework [1], as follows: (1) competency analysis of expertise requirements, (2) content identification of competency skills design, (3) devices development of competency expertise design, and (4) experts and trial validation of competency skills design; and (5) testing of competency expertise design. The results of this study showed that the development includes the understanding of utilization resources, namely; the ability of interpesonal skill, the ability to communicate, the ability to think critically of personal development, leadership, presentation skill, numeracy (numbers of skills), and digital skill.
