ABSTRAK Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui proses komunikasi antara penyuluh dengan petani dalam penerapan sistem Jajar Legowo di Desa Murni Jaya Kecamatan Tumujajar Kabupaten Tulang Bawang Barat. Penentuan lokasi penelitian dilakukan secara sengaja (purposive sampling). Pengumpulan data dilakukan pada bulan November 2018. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan melakukan observasi langsung ke tempat penelitian, wawancara depth interview dengan pengurus kelompok tani dan penyuluh, serta studi kepustakaan. Metode analisis data adalah dengan deskriptif kualitatif. Fokus pada penelitian ini adalah kendala komunikasi antara penyuluh dan Gapoktan Mekar Jaya Sri dalam penerapan Sistem Tanam Jajar Legowo dan solusi untuk menangani masalah tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa komunikasi yang dilakukan penyuluh sudah cukup baik, hal ini karena penyuluh melakukan pertemuan dengan anggota kelompok tani sebulan sekali, melakukan anjang sana dan anjang karya. Sedangkan petani yang belum mau menerapkan Sistem Tanam Jajar Legowo disebabkan oleh sifat inovasi yang rumit dan pengeluaran biaya untuk menerapkan inovasi tersebut lebih besar daripada menggunakan sistem tanam sebelumnya, sehingga masih ada keraguan petani untuk menerapkan inovasi tersebut. Upaya yang dilakukan untuk mengatasi kendala tersebut, yaitu perlu adanya perbaikan pada persepsi petani terhadap Sistem Tanam Jajar Legowo, penyuluh perlu meningkatkan intensitas pendampingan kepada petani, dan juga perlu melakukan pengontrolan dan evaluasi terhadap usahatani padi yang dilakukan oleh petani padi di Desa Murni Jaya.
Sustainable Food Home Area is the concept of optimizing the use of yard locations around the house with a variety of plants, livestock, and fish in an area. The research objective is to determine internal and external factors and determine the strategy for developing a Sustainable Food Home Area program in Tulang Bawang Barat District. The research method used is a quantitative method. Data on internal and external environmental factors in this program were collected through observation, interviews with respondents with the help of questionnaires, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies. Data was collected in December 2019. The strategy program for the development of Sustainable Food Home Area in Tulang Bawang Barat Regency was analyzed using SWOT analysis. The recommended model for developing the program is based on the results of the assessment and analysis of natural and environmental resource potential and the potential of the program which is integrated with an analysis of the socio-economic, protection, and partnership aspects of its development. The results of the analysis of the internal factors are a) strengths (geographical position, around to production input providers and consumers, as well as the bargaining position to consumers), and b) Weakness (Human Resources, managers and assistance, the influence of pests and diseases, and the use of technology in the implementation program). External factors are c) Opportunities (policies in developing programs, government support, supporting infrastructure, and safety performance and capacity), and d) Threats (use of modern technology, collaboration with companies, cooperation, increases in prices of other products, and impact and changing weather). The priority strategy improvement program can be carried out by increasing savings by increasing compatibility, optimizing the function of the yard to increase the amount of production, increasing the bargaining position by providing quality products for profit, and marketing products by utilizing existing infrastructure.
The objectives of this study were to analyze the performance of agricultural extension agents (PPL), factors related to PPL performance, the relationship between PPL performance and productivity of the rice and the relationship between the productivity and paddy rice income in Kalirejo. This study uses a survey method on rice farming in Kalirejo, Central Lampung. The data was collected in October 2017 by interviewing 53 respondents consist of 8 PPLs and 45 rice farmer who were drawn by purposive sampling method. The data was analyzed by qualitative-descriptive analysis, tabulation and Rank Spearman correlation. The study showed that the performance of PPL in BPP Kalirejo was considered high. The competence, work environment, motivation and leadership PPL are related to the performance of PPL. The performance of PPL was related to the productivity of rice. However the productivity was not related to the income of rice farming. Although, the productivity of the rice was increasing, income of the rice farmer was considered low due to low price of rice. This study aims to determine the implementation of the sustainable food house area program, contribution of the program to family income of farmer women’s group, and analyze the food security of KWT members in Tulang Bawang Barat Regency. The research was conducted in five groups of women farmers in Margodadi, Marga Kencana, Tirta Makmur, Tirta Kencana, and Mulya Asri Villages. Data were collected in December 2019. Data were collected using survey methods and direct interviews in the field. The sampling method was carried out deliberately (purposive sampling); as many as 62 people were interviewed by visiting the respondent’s house. The results showed that the implementation of the program was seen from the development of village nurseries, development of demonstration plot plots, and development of farmer women’s group members’ yards. The income women’s group’s income the yard utilization program for one year ranges from IDR 2,565,600 - IDR 6,930,000. Family food security of KWT members subjectively categorized in the medium category from the adequacy of family food availability of KWT members, food distribution in the family is quite good, and aspects of family food consumption are also quite good. The affordability of families to get food is quite relatively. Women farmer groups’ knowledge is already good about the food the body needs in the right composition. It is present in all types of food that are useful for health, in consuming family food by taking into account the quality and quantity of food they consume..
ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis persepsi stakeholder terhadap pengembangan Badan Usaha Milik Desa (Bumdes) Ramaksa di Sungai Langka. Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif dengan pengumpulan data dilakukan secara kualitatif menggunakan pedoman wawancara mendalam kemudian dianalisis isi (content analysis). Penelitian dilakukan di Bumdes Ramaksa Desa Sungai Langka Kecamatan Gedong Tataan Kabupaten Pesawaran. Teknik penentuan informan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Subjek penelitian adalah stakeholder program Bumdes yaitu Kepala Desa Sungai Langka, dua orang pelaksana operasional Bumdes dan dua orang masyarakat Desa Sungai Langka. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan November 2018. Fokus penelitian ini adalah keberadaan Bumdes, kontribusi Bumdes dalam penguatan ekonomi dan pembangunan desa serta persepsi stakeholder terhadap perkembangan Bumdes Ramaksa Desa Sungai Langka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa unit usaha yang dijalankan oleh Bumdes Ramaksa antara lain unit usaha pengelolaan isi ulang air minum, lembaga keuangan mikro, peternakan, dan sub agen air minum Izaura. Pemilihan unit usaha ini didasarkan pada sumber daya dan potensi yang ada di Desa Sungai Langka. Badan usaha milik desa Ramaksa dibentuk berdasarkan asas manfaat dan peningkatan kesejahteraan masyarakat desa. Persepsi stakeholder terhadap pengembangan Bumdes Ramaksa dilihat dari empat aspek, yaitu aspek ekonomi, ekologi, sosial dan kelembagaan. Dari keempat aspek yang dinilai, Bumdes Ramaksa sudah tergolong baik. Menurut informan, program Bumdes sebagai inplementasi program pemberdayaan masyarakat berupaya untuk menciptakan pertumbuhan di bidang ekonomi rakyat dan pemerataan kesejahteraan melalui perluasan kesempatan berusaha bagi usaha kecil masyarakat yang diukur dari peningkatan pendapatannya.
