This research was investigated using the Genetic Algebra Method for scheduling lectures and practicums. Genetic algorithms are used to solve problems that are modeled according to evolutionary principles in biological sciences. The application of the Genetic Algebraic Method for Scheduling Lectures and Practices is expected to be further developed into a computerized system that can replace the manual lecture scheduling and practicum methods so that it can produce a more accurate schedule with existing rules in a shorter time. The results of the use of the genetic algorithm method are obtained from the results of the data which are fixed scheduling lecture data and can be recommended for lectures according to the lecture schedule obtained from the results of generating genetic algorithms.
Cyberbullying is a form of bullying that takes place across virtually every social media platform. Twitter is a form of social media that allows users to exchange information. Bullying has been a growing problem on Twitter over the past few years. Sentiment analysis is done to identify the element of bullying in a tweet. Sentiments are divided into 3 classes, namely Bullying, Non-Bullying and neutral. There are three steps to classify cyberbullying i.e. collection of data set, preprocessing data, and classification process. This research used sentiStrength, an algorithm which uses a lexicon based approach. This SentiStrength lexicon contains the weight of its sentiment strength. The assessment results from 454 tweets data obtained 161 tweet non-bullying (35.4%), 87 tweet neutral (19.1%), and 206 tweet bullying (45.4%). This research produces an accuracy value of 60.5%.
The process of administering detainees and evidence managed by the Directorate of Detention and Evidence in the Jambi Regional Police which is currently underway is considered to be less effective and efficient because there are still some shortcomings that could have an impact in the future. These deficiencies can interfere with the administrative process of detainees and evidence that should run optimally in the future. Therefore this research was conducted to provide solutions to these problems by developing a new information system that can overcome and deal with the various shortcomings that occur today. The information system development method used in this study is design and creation using the prototype method. The prototype method consists of 5 stages: communication, quick plan, modeling quick design, contruction of prototype and deployment, delivery and feedback. In addition, the system that has been built will be functionally tested using black box testing. This test is conducted as a trial method that focuses on finding input conditions errors in the system. The results of the study using black box testing using 55 points of the test scenario show that this system is functionally running optimally
The purpose of this study was to analyze and to design an Android-based academic information system at Jambi University. This information system would be able to help the activities of the civitas academica at Jambi University. This information system has important facilities in the form of course contract features, view study results, input courses, input grades, lecture schedules and class schedule information. When developed this system, researcher used the Java programming language, where Java programming is used to build android-based applications, while for this database information system used MySQL. Analysis method and system design in this research used the Waterfall method. The Waterfall method has several stages: Analysis, System Design, Implementation, Integration, Operation and Maintenance. In the process of data collection, researcher used methods of observation, interview and literature studies. The output of this research is an Android-based academic information system.
