Although learning English for many years, most students could not be able to practice and speak in the class or out of class. Speaking in English language is very difficult for students and they think that they cannot speak English even though they know that the skill is very important to face the globalization. Various studies shows internal factors play important roles in speaking. One of the factors is self-efficacy (SE). Yet, there has not yet comprehensive study on the correlation between self-efficacy and speaking ability especially in lower secondary level of the students. Therefore, this research intends to find out the relationship between the student's self-efficacy and speaking skill at lower level, at seventh grade students at SMPN 2 Curug, Tangerang. A quantitative method was used. Using a random sampling, 78 students from eight classes were given self-efficacy questionnaire and speaking test. The analysis of correlation revealed that there is a significant correlation between the student's self-efficacy and the student's speaking skill at seventh grade students. Therefore, the English teachers should help the student to increase the student's self-efficacy in speaking skill as it can foster the student's enthusiasm in learning.
Tata letak fasilitas dapat didefinisikan sebagai kumpulan unsur-unsur fisik yang diatur mengikuti aturan atau logika tertentu. Tata letak fasilitas merupakan bagian perancangan fasilitas yang lebih fokus pada pengaturan unsur-unsur fisik berupa mesin, peralatan, meja, bangunan dan sebagainya. Pengaturan dan Penyusunan Tata Letak Fasilitas dalam suatu industri/tempat/area sangat diperlukan dalam rangka peningkatan dan perbaikan fasilitas guna menunjang kegiatan usaha, kelayakan pelayanan dan pemanfaatan area yang efektif dan efisien. Penelitian yang dilakukan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan perbaikan pelayanan, selain itu untuk meminimasi jarak tempuh pemindahan bahan produksi pada dapur putri POMOSDA.Perancangan ulang tata letak pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode Activity Relationship Chart (ARC) yaitu konsep perancangan dengan melakukan pertukaran area/ruang yang memiliki kedekatan dalam hal aktivitas atau berdasarkan luas keseluruhan bangunan, sehingga akan didapatkan solusi yang optimal berdasarkan tingkat efisiensi jarak.Hasil analisis terhadap layout usulan dengan menggunakan metode ARC lebih efisien dibandingkan layout awal. Perbandingan antara jarak layout awal sebesar 82.98 m dengan layout usulan sebesar 50.997 m, yaitu terjadinya pengurangan jarak sebesar 31.983 m dengan layout usulan menggunkan metode UA-FLP.
Permasalahan mengenai apakah kemampuan diri dapat memberikan pengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa. karena banyak yang masih berspekulasi bahwa kemampuan diri berpengaruh maupun tidak berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan diri. jadi, analisis yang kami buat ini bertujuan untuk melihat apakah benar kemampuan diri mempengaruhi hasil belajar, ataupun sebaliknya.
