SummaryBased on our previously described method of amino acid detection with fluorescamine, we described here a semi-quantitative determination of amino acid concentrations from urine and blood. The method is simple and rapid and is applicable for at least the urinary phenylalanine, glycine, cystine and the serum phenylalanine.
