Abstract-The popularity of physics, as well as the interest in the field, seems to be declining in the school worldwide from year to year. Teachers are likely to hold beliefs about teaching and learning and use of ICT tools which are additional instruments considered in the teaching and learning practice. The increase in ICT development gives wide opportunities in its use to improve the learning performance. The study aims to find out a realistic picture of the teaching-learning constraints of teachers in the use of ICT especially those with certain beliefs in its use. It is the qualitative research using triangulation method. This study involved physics teachers, principals, and physics students from Indonesia and Philippines. The result showed that almost all physics teachers in Indonesia and Philippines belief that ICT has many benefits to enhance learning. The supporting regulation from school management is needed to encourage the teacher to use ICT in their learning activities.
Bagi dunia pendidikan dokumentasi kearsipan sangat penting dikelola bagi sekolah. Hal ini karena merupakan kebutuhan saat diperlukan untuk pengambilan keputusan, penilaian dan sebagai data histori bagi sekolah. Dalam konsep kearsipan menurut Peraturan Arsip Nasional Republik Indonesia Nomor 9 Tahun 2018 bahwa secara konsep ada dua jenis arsip, yaitu arsip dinamis dan statis. Permasalahan yang dialami oleh suatu institusi adalah mengelola arsip dinamis karena perubahan arsip sedemikian cepatnya, sehingga membutuhkan pengelolaan khusus. Berkembangnya teknologi informasi memungkinkan instansi untuk mengelola kearsipan ini dengan baik. Sayangnya belum semua sekolah melakukan dokumentasi arsip secara digital, hal ini berdampak di masa mendatang ketika dokumen tersebut dibutuhkan kesulitan dalam mencari arsip tersebut padahal mendukung kinerja sekolah, misalnya dalam saat penilaian kinerja sekolah. Untuk itu dalam kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan suatu kegiatan untuk memberikan webinar dalam pengelolaan kearsipan sekolah dengan memanfaat teknologi informasi berupa aplikasi elektronik Arsip. Manfaat kegiatan ini membantu pihak sekolah untuk dapat mengelola arsip sekolah dengan baik dan memberikan wawasan terkait pentingnya tata kelola dokumen bagi sekolah. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan dilakukan dengan cara akuisisi pengetahuan melalui Forum Group Discuss (FGD), pembuatan aplikasi E-Arsip dengan menerapkan konsep waterfall, memberikan pelatihan bagi guru-guru terkait E-Arsip dan melakukan pengukuran terhadap produk software yang dihasilkan.
This study was made to classify the types of children's reading books based image on the on the cover. The types of books used in this research are fairy tales, educational books and comics. The problem that occurs is that there are many types of reading books so that there are no errors in identifying children's literature, then classification is carried out. Uses approximately 1002 image data. This study uses the method Convolutional Neural Network (CNN). The purpose of this study was to classify the types of children's reading books to suit the age of the reader. It is hoped that the research objectives can make it easier for parents to find books that are appropriate for their child's age. Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) is a method deep learning that is usually used to process data in the form of images. The research stages start from literature study, data collection, data processing, needs analysis, design, implementation and testing. The collection uses several methods, namely: literature study, documentation method, interview and questionnaire method. The design is carried out from input image data, followed by calculating the accuracy and classification process which results in image classification. Implementation using the Python programming language. Evaluation of the performance of testing the accuracy value using the confusion matrix. The result of the research is a system that can classify the types of children's reading books using 70% training data and 30% test data. With an accuracy rate above 80%.
Globalization has enabled people to live in a borderless world. People interact openly and conveniently with people from across the globe. As such, they are often being introduced to new ways of doing things. Language is no longer a barrier as many are learning foreign languages for their own reasons. One way people immerse themselves in another culture is by mirroring the other culture-their food. This study investigates the emergence of fast food called Ramen that has changed the way people around the world look at their fast food consumption. 530 participants from several countries responded to a survey asking their perception of the consumption of Ramen. Findings in this study have shown that young adults turn to Ramen for its convenience and its availability. The next findings also showed that respondents felt they were immersing themselves in the culture that they liked. Finally, findings also showed that many have turned to consumption as a way of their life. Findings in this study can pave more future studies on the relationship of language, culture, and food.
