Introduction:Today, factors which drive a company's success are basically workers' personality and one of the factors affecting work is selfmanagement, which includes stress management. It is this factor which can later influence the performance of a worker within a company.
Aims:In this case, the present study aimed to examine the contribution of personal stress management to an employee's performance and how such influence may affect a company's success. The main focus of this study was to evaluate stress management and its effect on employees' performance. This study took place in Bandung at organization X and we applied a descriptive survey method as the most appropriate means of the study. The participants were purposively selected comprising 34 employees.
Conclusion:The results revealed that there are many stress factors employees endure though they don't significantly affect performance, but still influence most of their decisions to leave the company due to continuous dissatisfaction. It is therefore recommended that such a company should establish a most appropriate strategy to prevent stress within its employees.
A crisis is a state of tension that occurs at an unexpected time and significantly affects business continuity. The tourism sector is susceptible to being impacted by its multi-purpose structure—natural disasters, terrorist incidents, epidemics, political tensions, economic fluctuations, etc. By creating a problem, it can cause the accommodation business to lose tourists at any time. Developing new products, shifting to alternative tourism markets, and reducing costs may be options for businesses. However, because every crisis is different, managers must determine the most appropriate strategy for the problem. Effective crisis management is made possible by strategic control. With the application of smart strategic management, crises can be turned into opportunities. With the Covid-19 outbreak, many hotel businesses have had to reconsider their marketing strategies. In this research, a case study was conducted at the four-star Prime Park Hotel in Bandung. This study aims to determine how hotels are affected by the Pandemic and determine what kind of marketing strategies they employ in dealing with this crisis. It has been observed that Hotel Prime Park, whose customer base consists of foreign tourists arriving from the Far East on package tours before the Pandemic, was negatively affected by domestic and international travel restrictions that started with the Pandemic. Hotel management has mostly followed a market share strategy and cost reduction, and customer acquisition.
Dalam masa pandemi Covid-19 UMKM kuliner banyak terkena dampak karena adanya pemberlakuan pembatasan kegiatan masyarakat (PPKM) yang dikeluarkan oleh Peraturan Daerah (Perda) Kabupaten Bekasi, yang mengharuskan masyarakat mengurangi aktivitas/kegiatan di luar rumah, tetap menjaga jarak dan mentaati aturan protokol kesehatan (prokes). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi literature, data yang diperoleh dikompilasi dan dianalisis dengan pendekatan deskripsi akan menmperoleh suatu kesimpulan. Hasil pemikiran dalam penelitian ini dengan mengambil data literature dari sumber, yaitu teknik pengumpulan data dengan menelaah literature, teori-teori, buku-buku, artikel-artikel serta catatan-catatan yang ada di internet dan sosial media (sosmed) sesuai dengan masalah yang terkait. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa adanya kepemimpinan transformasional dapat mendorong adanya Kreativitas dan inovasi di dalam diri individu untuk mencapai suatu tujuan dan bentuk Kreativitas dan inovasi yang dapat dilakukan oleh para pelaku UMKM kuliner di Kabupaten Bekasi pada masa pandemi ini adalah terbukanya pikiran untuk melakukan suatu perubahan ke depannya agar terus tetap bertahan.
Tujuan riset dengan pendekatan kualitatif ini untuk menghasilkan suatu jawaban yang bersifat natural dan tepat agar dapat diimplementasikan: (1) Mengetahui kebijakan Kepala Sekola terhadap sumber daya manusia di SMK Muhammdiyah Parung. (2) Mengetahui kebijakan Kepala Sekolah tehadap Kompetensi Guru pada SMK Muhammadiyah Parung. (3) Mengetahui kebijakan Kepala Sekolah terhadap terhadap keadaan lingkungan pada SMK Muhammadiyah Parung. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan Hasil wawancara mencerminkan bahwa kebijakan yang ada di SMK Muhammadiyah Parung yaitu cukup baik. Hal ini didasarkan dari jawaban-jawaban pimpiman sekolah, perlu kiranya pimpinan melakukan evaluasi kebijakan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru demi tercapainya visi dan misi SMK Muhammadiyah Parung.
