REWARD, JOB SATISFACTION, MOTIVATION AND JOB PERFORMANCE AMONG NURSING STAFF Background: Nurse performance is the activity of the nurses in implementing their authority, duties and responsibilities as well as possible. From the results of prasurvey, obtained the result of temporary analysis the low performance of nurses was suspected due to job satisfaction, reward system, motivation of the nurse.Purpose: These study to known the influence of Reward and Job Satisfaction To Motivation and Performance of Nurses at Pertamina Bintang Amin Hospital Bandar Lampung.Methods: This was quantitative study with analytical design and cross sectional approach. This research was conducted since February to March 2018. Data analysis was done trough path analysis (Path Analysis).Results: showed there is significant influence of reward (p-value:0.048), job satisfaction (p-value:0.001) and motivation (p-value:0.000) to nurse performance. Value of coefficient beta reward ( 0.105), nurse satisfaction (0.311) and motivation (0.609) to nurse performance.Conclusion: Hospital institutions need to increase nurses motivation, so nurses always have good performance by providing intensive to nurses who work overtime and have good performance, facilitating the need for nurses to create job satisfaction, as well as providing support to continue education.Pendahuluan: Kinerja perawat adalah aktivitas perawat dalam mengimplementasikan sebaik–baiknya suatu wewenang, tugas dan tanggung jawabnya. Dari hasil prasurvey didapatkan hasil analisis sementara rendahnya kinerja perawat diduga terletak pada kepuasan kerja, sistem penghargaan, motivasi kerja perawat tersebut. Tujuan: Diketahui pengaruh Reward dan Kepuasan Kerja Terhadap Motivasi dan Kinerja Perawat di Rumah Sakit Pertamina Bintang Amin Bandar Lampung.Metode: Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan rancangan analitik pendekatan cross sectional, dan telah dilaksanakan pada bulan Februari sampai Maret 2018. Analisa data menggunakanan alisis jalur (Path Analysis).Hasil: ada pengaruh signifikan antara Reward (p-value:0.048), Kepuasan Kerja (p-value:0.001), dan Motivasi (p-value:0.000) terhadap Kinerja perawat. Diketahui ada pengaruh positif antara Reward (beta:0.105), Kepuasan Kerja (beta:0.311) dan Motivasi (0.609) terhadap Kinerja.Kesimpulan: Institusi pelayanan keperawatan di Rumah Sakit melalui bidang keperawatan bekerjasama dengan pihak manajemen rumah sakit perlu meningkatkan motivasi kepada perawat, agar perawat selalu memiliki kinerja yang baik. Memfasilitasi kebutuhan perawat agar bisa menciptakan kepuasan kerja, serta mendukung perawat pelaksana melanjutkan pendidikan.
RELATIONSHIP OF WORK LOADS, WORK CULTURE AND OLD WORK TOWARDS NURSING WORK STRESS IN IRNA III REGIONAL GENERAL HOSPITALS Dr. ABDUL MOELOEK PROVINSI LAMPUNG Background: The effect of work stress on nurses influences the professionalism of nurses in serving patients. Based on the results of prasurvey on December 1 to 4, 2017, it was found out from 15 nurses at RSUDAM 73.3% of nurses stated that they were saturated with routine and tiring, 66.7% of the work culture in hospitals made a burden of mind and the majority of nurses worked more than 10 years 73.3%.Purpose: to determine the relationship between burden, duration of work, culture and stress between nursing at irna III ward-dr.h. Abdul Moeloek Lampung Lampung Province General Hospital 2018.Methods: This research is a quantitative research, using Analytical Survey method with Cross Sectional approach. Research will be conducted after the proposal exam is approved. The population in this study were all nurses in the Irna III Room Abdul Moeloek Regional General Hospital totaling 250 people, a sample of 154 people. Sampling techniques with Purposive Sampling. Data collection using questionnaire sheets. Data processing editing, coding, processing, cleaning. Data analysis using univariate and bivariate (Chi Square).Results: Based on the results it is known that as many as 1 26 (16.9%) respondents experienced work stress. 102 (66.2%) respondents had a light workload. as many as 95 (61.7%) respondents of good organizational culture, as many as 117 (76.0%) old respondents in working.Conclusion: There is a relationship between workload (p-value = 0,000 or 6,221), There is a relationship between organizational culture (p-value = 0,014 or 3,163), There is a relationship between length of work (p-value = 0,000 or 5,326) with the stressful incidence of nurse work. Pursed lips breathing and an forward leaning posture to reduce dyspnea in Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) patients.Background: An in-depth personal interview in December 2019 with nurses of Dr. H. Abdul Moeloek Hospital of Lampung Province where the hospital is one of the referred hospitals for COPD in Lampung Province found that the COPD patient number increased every day. In average, there were 20 COPD patients registered every day with mostly having complaint of heavy breathless and recurring out of breath seizures. In total, in 2018, there were 491 COPD patients recorded at medical record indicating the increase compared with 237 patients in the previous year.Purpose: Knowing the effect of forward leaning posture and pursed lips breathing in respiratory rate on COPD.Methods: A quantitative study with quasi experimental one group pretest – posttest approach. The population of the study involved 93 people. The purposive sampling of 17 respondent. The statistical analysis was through T-Dependent.Result: The mean score of the breathing condition of the COPD patients before given FLP and PLB interventions was 86.71 with deviation standard 1.649, error standard 00.400 and min-max score 85 – 90. After the FLP and PLB interventions, the mean score was 92.82 with 2.856 standard deviation, 0.693 error standard, and min-max scores 88 – 97. The T-dependent statistical test found P value 0.000 (α<0.05).Conclusion: There was the effect of forward leaning posture and pursed lips breathing in respiratory rate on COPD. This research can be used as a recommendation for setting operational standard in the management of COPD patients in order to improve the caring quality of the nurses, particularly on handling FLP and PLB therapy. Rata-rata dalam sehari terdapat 20 penderita dengan PPOK yang dirawat dengan keluhan sesak nafas yang sangat berat dan sebagian besar dari mereka adalah pasien yang datang dengan serangan sesak nafas berulang. Sedangkan berdasarkan data rekam medik sebanyak 491 pasien dengan PPOK pada tahun 2018, kejadian ini mengalami peningkatan dari tahun sebelumnya, yaitu sebanyak 237 pasien mengalami PPOK pada tahun 2017.Tujuan: Diketahui pengaruh posisi CKD dan PLB terhadap tingkat sesak nafas pada pasien PPOK.Metode: Jenis penelitian Kuantitatif dengan rancangan penelitian menggunakan Quasi Eksperimental dengan pendekatan one group pretest – posttest design. Populasi sebanyak 93 dan sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 17 orang, pengambilan sampel pada penelitian adalah purposive sampling. Uji statistik menggunakan uji t-dependen.Hasil : Rata-rata posisi kondisi pernafasan pasien PPOK sebelum diberikan terapi CKD Dan PLB dengan mean 86,71 standar deviasi 1,649 standar eror 00,400 dan nilai min-max 85-90, dan setelah diberi intervensi mean 92,82 standar deviasi 2,856 standar eror 0,693 dan nilai min-max 88-97. Hasil uji statistik menggunakan t-dependen didapat nilai p-value 0.000 (α<0.05).Simpulan : Hasil penelitian ini terdapat pengaruh posisi CKD Dan PLB Terhadap Tingkat Sesak Nafas Pada Pasien PPOK.Saran: Dapat dijadikan standar operasional penatalaksanaan pasien dengan PPOK sebagai upaya untuk meningkatkan kualitas asuhan keperawatan dengan cara memberikan posisi CKD dan PLB.
The effect of basic life support training simulation on knowledge and motivation of first aid in road traffic accidents among high school students Background: Basic Life Support is the main foundation used to save someone who is experiencing cardiac arrest. Accidents are events that can cause injury or even cause death. Based on a survey at the South Lampung Police, there were 295 accident data in 2020. Purpose: To know the effect of basic life support training simulation on knowledge and motivation of first aid in road traffic accidents among high school studentsMethod: A quantitative, using a quasi-experimental design, and two-group (intervention group and control group) pretest-posttest design was carried out at Yadika Natar High School, Lampung on 08 May 2021 - 09 June 2021. The population of all students with a sample of 32 participants. Collecting data using a questionnaire distributed to participants. Data analysis by univariate (frequency distribution) and bivariate (Wilcoxson test).Results: Finding that most of the participants' knowledge and motivation before the simulation was 6 (37.5%) for knowledge and motivation less than 8 (50.0%). After a simulation of the knowledge level of 16 (100%) participants with 16 (100%) participants having prime motivation. There is a relationship between the basic life support training simulation on increasing knowledge and motivation about handling traffic accidents with a P-value of 0.001 for knowledge and a P-value of 0.000 for participants' motivation.Conclusion: There is a relationship between the basic life support training simulation with increasing students' knowledge and motivation about handling traffic accidents at Yadika Natar High School South Lampung in 2021 with an M±SD value before the simulation of 5.56±1.711 for participant knowledge and 47.06±9.657 for participant motivation. Meanwhile, after the simulation, the M±SD value was 7.88±1.408 for participant knowledge and 67.94±3.586 for participant motivation. Kecelakaan adalah suatu kejadian yang dapat menyebabkan cedera atau bahkan menyebabkan kematian. Berdasarkan survei di Polres Lampung Selatan, terdapat 295 data kecelakaan pada tahun 2020. Tujuan: Pengaruh simulasi pelatihan bantuan hidup dasar (BHD) terhadap pengetahuan dan motivasi siswa tentang penanganan kejadian kecelakaan lalu lintasMetode: Penelitian kuantitatif, menggunakan desain quasi-experimental, dan rancangan two group pretest-posttest, dilakukan di SMA Yadika Natar Lampung Selatan bulan 08 mei 2021 - 09 juni 2021. Partisipannya sebanyak 32 yang di bagi dalam 2 kelompok yaitu kelompok intervensi dan kelompok kontrol dengan masing- masing kelompok sebanyak 16 partisipan. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dengan jumlah sampel 32 partisipan. Pengambilan data menggunakan kuesioner yang dibagikan ke partisipan. Analisis data secara univariat (distribusi frekuensi) dan bivariat (uji wilcoxon). Hasil: Diketahui pada kelompok intervensi sebagian besar pengetahuan dan motivasi partisipan sebelum simulasi adalah 6 (37.5%) untuk pengetahuan dan motivasi kurang dari 8 (50.0%). Setelah dilakukan simulasi tingkat pengetahuan baik sebanyak 16 (100%) partisipan dengan 16 (100%) partisipan memiliki motivasi tinggi. Ada hubungan antara simulasi pelatihan bantuan hidup dasar terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan dan motivasi siswa tentang penanganan kecelakaan lalu lintas dengan nilai P value sebesar 0.001 untuk pengetahuan dan nilai P value sebesar 0.000 untuk motivasi partisipan. Simpulan: Ada hubungan antara simulasi pelatihan bantuan hidup dasar dengan peningkatan pengetahuan dan motivasi siswa tentang penanganan kecelakaan lalu lintas di SMA Yadika Natar Lampung Selatan tahun 2021 dengan nilai M±SD sebelum simulasi sebesar 5.56±1.711 untuk pengetahuan partisipan dan 47.06±9.657 untuk motivasi partisipan. Sedangkan setelah dilakukan simulasi didapatkan nilai M±SD sebesar 7.88±1.408 untuk pengetahuan partisipan dan 67.94±3.586 untuk motivasi partisipan. Peneliti berharap pihak sekolah dapat bekerjasama dengan para pelatih untuk memberikan penyuluhan dan pendidikan kesehatan secara berkala kepada siswa tentang tindakan pertolongan pertama pada saat terjadi kecelakaan lalu lintas.
