This paper considers the importance of quickly erectable construction systems, as well as their main purpose and applicability in various situations. Based on the analysis of scientific publications and the results of patent search, the authors suggest the structural features and technological solutions for installation of a new small-size quickly erectable collapsible construction system. The system is designed for temporary accommodation of a group of people involved in construction, geological exploration and other works in hard-to-reach areas, for tourists etc. Such a collapsible construction system can be adapted to serve as a temporary shelter for people surviving natural calamities. The foundation of the suggested system is an enclosed three-dimensional structure (crate) where the necessary structural elements are kept pending the assembly of the construction system, including telescopic legs and other tubular framing structures, rolls of tent covering, set of coupling elements, and supports. The specific features of this new system, as compared to similar space planning solutions, are low labor costs involved in its assembly and dismantling, small weight ensuring transportability of a collapsed and packed system, and reusability. Other benefits of the new small-size construction system include its low overall cost, environmental safety and energy efficiency.
Abstract. The paper discusses the importance of building reconstruction and the need for improving the available formwork systems used for strengthening of structural elements during reconstruction. Citing the results of the analysis of the Russian and foreign scientific publications, the authors emphasize the necessity of replacing costly wooden formworks with high-technology reusable all-purpose and mobile formwork systems. Considering that such requirements are met by rubber-fabric formworks, the authors have developed a pneumatic formwork and showed by way of experiment that the labor intensity of installation and dismantling of such formworks is much lower as compared with conventional wooden formworks, which makes this research original. The paper further describes the design of the suggested formwork and the installation and dismantling techniques. The versatility of the formwork is confirmed by its ability to easily adapt to any structural elements (pier foundations, columns, beams etc.) ensured by the flexibility of rubber-fabric materials. This system can be used for structural elements having various geometric shapes (round, rectangle, trapezoidal) and dimensions. Their transportability is warranted not only by the dimensions and flexibility, but also by a small weight. The use of pneumatic formworks contributes to resolving the problem of conservation such valuable natural material as wood.
The relevance of the art-exhibition activities as an innovative tool in enterprises of due to current trends in the hospitality industry, in hotels increasingly is activities of a cultural nature. The aim of this work is to determine the exposure opportunities of hotel enterprises as innovative technologies of the modern hotel business. The organizational structure of a hotel enterprise is conducive to the introduction of exhibition activities as an innovative tool. It is possible to perform a set of activities by fulltime employees of hotels, and in addition to hiring professionals, attracting private consultants, engaging in creative collaborations.
The article deals with a number of problems related to establishment of public space of a municipality and the role of urbanistic discourse in its development. The pre-requisites of these phenomena are the accelerating urbanization and the consequent changes (both common and specific for countries and cities) in urban environment for residents. Resulting from automobilization, urbanization and ghettoization of districts, the city center is losing its status of the city core. Streets, squares and parks are also becoming less socially important. What may help restore their importance is the emergence of a new type of social communities based on the trends of the new urban planning that solves the problem of residents’ social isolation and turns residents into citizens. In this context, a social community that features public activities is called «public space» Introduction of digital communications into urban milieu enables creating a new form of public space. Via modern communications and the mass media, urban residents satisfy their need for socializing, and act not only as consumers of cultural and social opportunities of the city, but also as its active reorganizers. The authors infer that urbanistic discourse reflects interests of residents, urban communities, municipal authorities and groups of urbanization experts in urban environment development. Thus, topicality of urbanistic discourse is explained by the new trends in urban transformation, formation of social communities, and the diversity of modern means of communication.
A brief characteristic of the problem of urgent researches of living environment comfortability in Russian cities is presented in this article. The authors’ method of urban environment comfortability diagnostics on the basis of integrated approach is given. It is proved that living environment comfortability assessment should be based not only on the analysis of the official statistics, the data of Russian government and technical observations, but also on the city residents’ interview results. The sequence of method development of urban environment comfortability assessment is stated. This sequence includes such components as: the formation of the complex of factors defining urban comfortability state; the development of the set of criteria (aggregated into five groups), which render the content of factors and reflect a wide range of residents’ requirements; the defining of assessment intervals for each criterion. The formed method reflects the following groups of residents’ requirements to the urban environment comfortability: a) to the general living conditions in the city; b) to the conditions for labor / education / other productive work; c) to the conditions for leisure and creative activities; d) to social conditions; e) to psychological conditions. The results of approbation of the developed method are presented. The pilot study was held in Irkutsk, a Siberian city, and resulted in urban comfortability assessment. The results of this approbation allow to say about this method usefulness for getting quantitative assessment of the urban comfortability state in general and also in its isolated aspects.
