Cross sections for the dissociative excitation of H i by electrons have been measured for interaction energies between 25.4 and 715eV. A source was used which produced H; ions under clearly defined conditions. Over the whole energy range, the measurements agree very closely with values obtained by averaging the theoretical cross sections of Peek in 1967 and Peek and Green in 1969 over a vibrational population given by Franck-Condon factors between hydrogen and H i .
P-p'-dioxydiphenylsulpfone, p-nitro--p'-methylbenzylidenaniline, 3-metoxy-4--oxybenzaldehyde crystals are obtained of high optical quality. Refraction index dispersion, nonlinear susceptibility tensor components values, symmetry classes are determined. It is shown that the crystals posses high nonlinear susceptibility along with wide range of transparency and high laser damage threshold. A new method is considered of nonlinear susceptibility measurements.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
