Trichinellosis/Trichinosis is one of the most common zoonotic parasites in the world caused by infection with Trichinella nematodes. The infection occurs after the larvae have been eaten in the muscles of the infected animal. Due to its spread and spread, several outbreaks of trichinosis have occurred around the world, which has caused serious public health problems. The main risk factor for trichinosis is the consumption of raw or undercooked meat from pigs and hunted meat. In the first stage of infection, adults nematode in the intestine can cause transient gastroenteritis, but the most serious symptoms are associated with the larval formation and muscle migration. a study conducted in India to investigate at the clinical and biochemical profile of Trichinella infection stated that clinical symptoms first appeared at 2-3 weeks after consuming pork and the symptoms would gradually disappear at 4-5 weeks, but there were also some who experienced myalgia. Supervision and implementing proper biosecurity in livestock areas by monitoring and surveillance of the risk of Trichinella infection in pig products and their derivatives as well as preventing transmission to humans.
The concept of motion and forces needs to be mastered by physics students through theoretical learning and scientific inquiry in the laboratory. The theory of motion and forces can be learned through online lectures and assignments. However, laboratory investigations cannot be conducted due to campus policies to study and work from home. Therefore, this research was conducted to develop practicum modules that can facilitate the practicum of motion and forces remotely. This module features videos containing experimental data and analysis guides with EPUB format to facilitate scientific argumentation ability. This article primarily discusses the content validity of the electronic module and the practicum video. The method used was expert judgment using validation questionnaires by five experts. Validation results are then converted to a five-scale score based on the ideal standard deviation to determine the product eligibility. The calculation results show that practical electronic and video modules have an excellent level of feasibility. Furthermore, the electronic practicum module based on scientific argumentation needs to be tested to determine its level of practicality and effectiveness in facilitating practicum and developing scientific argumentative ability.
The process of learning to teach face-to-face was transformed into online learning and self-assignment during the Covid-19 pandemic. Not all learning materials can be resolved by online assignments or lectures, especially learning involving scientific processes and practicum activities. Also, the analysis of various student practicum reports shows the lack of students’ ability to analyze data based on the appropriate theory. Therefore, this research aims to develop an electronic practicum module based on scientific argumentation that can be used by students as a practicum media in the Covid-19 pandemic. The type of research used is development research with ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate) models. The developed electronic practicum module has been validated with expert judgment by five experts through validation questionnaires. Validation poll results are then changed with a five-scale score conversion based on the ideal standard deviation to determine the product validation criteria. The calculation results show that the product is in an outstanding category and ready to be tested. Furthermore, trial activities will be conducted to determine the practicality and effectivity of product intervention on the students’ scientific arguments ability.
