The aim of this work is to think on the state-of-the-art of e-commerce and its trends for the future. E-commerce has been developing since the 1990’s and its evolution is directly linked to the advancement of information technology. Early e-commerce began with the simple dissemination of goods and services by digital means, going from the issuance of orders, then the delivery of products to achieving interaction between traders and consumers via the Internet. Some e-commerce tools enable users to perform transactions even without leaving home – with transactions ranging from purchasing to paying bills. This can be done 24 hours a day, including weekends and holidays. The demand for convenience and, even, privacy are the main responsible reasons for the increased use of electronic commerce by consumers. Despite the advances of e-commerce in recent times it still requires larger investment, especially regarding safety, which is appointed as major deficiency in this trade modality, along with logistics. Investments will also be necessary to enable e-commerce to keep up with the current technological advances and future development prospects, such as the adoption of virtual intelligence, the expansion of globalization with language translators, adaptive interfaces that take into account the specific characteristics of user groups and the mobile commerce, and the experimentation in 3D model. This study aims to – by means of literature review – draw a brief history of the emergence and evolution of e-commerce, also highlighting the tools in use, the trends and challenges of this modern business model.
To ensure survival, seize opportunities, and resist threats in the unpredictable business scenario, companies increasingly adopt practices that enable intra-entrepreneur behavior. This behavior is characterized by the alignment of company members in search of innovative solutions for the development of the organization and building a competitive advantage. The current study reflects on the importance of intra-entrepreneurship and innovation for the competitiveness of the organization. This article discusses the development of intra-entrepreneurship, its characteristics, the factors that precede it, and also reflects on the relationship between intra-entrepreneurship, innovation, and competitiveness of organizations. The methodological approach consisted of a systematic descriptive-discursive review of the academic literature with research in databases (CAPES Journal Portal, EBSCO HOST, and Web of Science). The keywords used were: corporate entrepreneurship, intra-entrepreneurship, innovation, competitiveness, and competitive advantage (in Portuguese and English). The research found that intra-entrepreneurship and innovation go hand in hand. Together, they constitute dynamic and holistic processes in which employee behavior, combined with favorable organizational factors, affect the development of organizations and the possibility of developing a competitive advantage, not limited to new companies. This article contributes to the literature on intra-entrepreneurship, reinforcing its importance, along with innovation for organizational development. As a practical implication, the current work demonstrated the need to increase attention and appreciation of human capital as a strategic factor for achieving competitive advantage in organizations. For future research, we suggest seeking quantitative research that confirms the relationship between intra-entrepreneurship, innovation, and organizational performance.

This article, through a literature review, explores evidence that public governance positively influences and stimulates the innovation ecosystem, the co-creation, and co-production of resilience in communities that are victims of disasters, shocks, and even pandemic disasters, such as COVID-19. Disaster scenarios of all kinds cause millions of damage to society. The negative impacts of these contexts disasters, shocks, catastrophes, even if pandemic, such as COVID-19, can be greater or lesser, depending on the dysfunctions of governance and the negative barriers to the creation of public policies consistent with the capacity for resilience. Thus, the possible solution to this scenario may be based on public governance, if the pubic governance is instituted in an organized, integrated, and articulated manner. For this purpose, a theoretical conceptual framework of value creation is proposed through public governance that values and stimulates the innovation ecosystem, the co-creation, co-production of value, and a static, hierarchical, and linear structural vision. There is theoretical evidence that public governance can promote resilience in communities that are victims of disasters, shocks, pandemics or disturbances, through an ecosystem of innovation, co-creation and co-production of value. In this regard, at the end of this article, a theoretical-conceptual framework for creating public value is proposed.
