The Industry 4.0 technologies are in ascension in the worldwide market, in Brazil still needs to be explored. It was made a Systematic Review to measure the application of IoT in the food industry. Some platforms were used to select works, applying the string “IoT AND Raspberry Pi AND Cheese”. It was possible to evidence the majority of IoT applications in the food industry, focus on the control of temperature, humidity, color, traceability of productive chain, and enlargement of sustainability in the food industry. The most difficulties faced in the conventional application of IoT are related to the high cost of proprietary arquitectures, qualified manpower and obstacles of data security implementation. There are alternatives that aim to reduce the costs of implementation, like the utilization of Raspberry Pi. The food industry presents potential application of technologies that aim for the quality of products, being an excellent opportunity.
In Brazil, SEBRAE reported that a record number of new businesses were created in 2021, with over 3.9 million new companies. However, data from Revista Exame shows that a third of Brazilian companies close before two years of operation. Entrepreneurial Diagnosis done by business consultants contributes to overcoming this problem, as it helps consolidate and recover enterprises in vulnerability. Therefore, this article conducted a systematic review of the integrative type to investigate the possibility of anticipating a diagnosis of business vulnerability. The review followed the methodological criteria determined by Whitemore and Knafl (2005) and improved by Botelho, Cunha, and Macedo (2011). The keywords “Diagnosis,” “Vulnerability,” “Business,” “Anticipation,” and “Forecast” were used on the Scopus and Web of Science databases and papers from the last 10 years were considered. A total of 44,650 manuscripts documents underwent several filters until reaching 16 articles, which were read in full to compose the review. In data extraction, the articles were categorized according to the type of diagnosis performed, technologies, samples, and size. As a result, we present a synthesis of knowledge about anticipating the diagnosis of corporate vulnerability, a discussion of the impact of predicting failures for companies, government, and society, and the constructs that could be built with the review. We believe this study will contribute to maturing the theme academically and for the market, optimizing the business diagnostic consultancy processes and offering rewards to the productive sector.
Industry 4.0 technologies are rising in the international market, especially the Internet of Things, better known as IoT (Internet of Things). The demand for software development for IoT technologies is also growing. Considering that human beings have several disabilities and specific needs, including among the professionals who can develop and deploy the technology, this work aimed tounderstand if there is accessibility in the IoT framework Node-Red®. To do so, an integrative literature review evaluated the use of the Node-Red framework®. We observed how the researchers applied the technologies and if there is accessibility and adequacy to the W3C (World Wide Web Consortium) rules since the W3C regulates ideal software development standards, including those of accessibility. With the analysis, it was possible to evidence that there are simple movements in favor of User Experience (UX) and accessibility in a generic way in several scenarios, from home use, business, industry, and health. The search results were demonstrated through data categorization, synthesis matrix, and descriptive analysis. The knowledge discussion and synthesis pointed out the contribution points of each paper and the literature gaps on accessibility for an IoT framework. Our findings showed that each paper contributed to this discussion and argued that even though there are no significant limitations pointed out by the authors reviewed for IoT implementation and accessibility, and they also discussed little or nothing about accessibility and W3C standards in their papers.
Motivating and preparing students for the changes that the world of work imposes is challenging and requires a renewal in the teaching and learning process. In order for education to fulfill its social and formative role, educational approaches should provide students with experience in real problems. In this sense, Project-Based Learning (PBL) is a suitable proposal for the didactic-pedagogical process of universities. The objective of this study is to analyze scientific publications in recent years on the application of PBL in higher education. For this purpose, a descriptive exploratory research was carried out, based on a scoping review. 355 works were identified in the literature, which after applying eligibility criteria resulted in 52 articles (14.6%), and after analyzing the complete article, 14 (27%) remained and served as a support to substantiate the present work. The analysis allowed us to observe that PBL provides students with a direct relationship with real challenges in the industry, finding solutions and treatments for identified problems, which allows the development of competencies based on applied knowledge.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
