ANALISIS PENENTUAN MUSIM PENANGKAPAN IKAN CAKALANG (Katsuwonus pelamis)DI PERAIRAN MANADO SULAWESI UTARA ABSTRAK Studi tentang musim penangkapan ikan tuna cakalang Katsuwonus pelamis, dilakukan di perairan Manado Sulawesi Utara. Data yang digunakan didasarkan adalah hasil tangkapan dan jumlah trip penangkapan dengan huhate per bulan di Tempat Pendaratan Ikan (TPI) Manado selama periode 1998-2010. Analisis untuk musim penangkapan ikan dengan menggunakan Metode Persentase Rata-rata. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tuna cakalang dapat ditangkap sepanjang tahun. Musim penangkapan ikan tuna cakalang terjadi selama April hingga November, sementara Januari, Februari, Maret, dan Desember bukan musim penangkapan. The data was used based upon the catch and fishing trip monthly by pole and line in Fish Landing Place (TPI) PI Manado over the periods 1998 to 2010. The analysis for fishing season using The Average Percentage Methods. The result showed that the skipjack tuna can be caught throughout the year. The fishing season for skipjack tuna occurred during April to November, while January, February, March, and December are not fishing season. The purpose of this study was to determine the size stucture, growth pattern, and relative conditions of rabbitfish (Siganus canaliculatus). Sampling was randomly done from the catches of fishermen in fesh condition. The number of fish samples taken for analysis was 61 individuals. Their fin color was yellowish or sometimes reddish purple. Measurements found that the fish samples had length range of 127 mm - 270 mm, and weight range of 21 and 249 g. Males had size range of 131-270 mm long with a body weight of 26-249 g and females had a body length of 127-249 mm, with a weight range of 21-191 g.Key words: Factor conditions, catches, fishermen, measurements. ABSTRAKTujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui struktur panjang, berat, pola pertumbuhan dan faktor kondisi relatif ikan Baronang (Siganus canaliculatus). Pengambilan sampel di lapangan dilakukan dengan metoda sampling yaitu dengan cara mengambil sampel ikan secara acak dari hasil tangkapan nelayan yang masih berada dalam kondisi segar. Jumlah sampel ikan yang diambil untuk dianalisis sebanyak 61 ekor. Hasil pengukuran secara keseluruhan menunjukkan bahwa ikan memiliki kisaran panjang 127 mm - 270 mm, dan berat antara 21 dan 249 g. Jantan memiliki kisaran panjang 131-270 mm dengan berat tubuh 26-249 g, dan betina memiliki panjang tubuh 127-249 mm, dengan berat tubuh 21-191 gram.Kata kunci: Faktor kondisi, hasil tangkapan, nelayan, pengukuran.
The aims of this study are determine the composition of the length and abundance of glass eel Anguilla spp that migrates at the mouth of the Poigar River. Sampling is done every month for four months in the new moon phase. Sampling site on one side of the Poigar River estuary, by making a 10 meter track in the direction of the river flow. The fishing gear used is a triangle-shaped handy scoop net with a length of 100 cm and a width of 75 cm. The catch of Glass eel eel for four months (from April to July 2018) as many as 3,551 individuals. Average length (± SD) in April was 44.4 ± 1.4 cm, May 48.7 ± 1.6 cm, June 51.1 ± 2.0 cm and July 51.1 ± 2.4 cm. The highest number of catches in May was 1,841 individuals, followed by June 785, July 860 individuals and April as many as 55 individuals. The average density of eels in April, Mai, June and July 2018 migrating in the sampling area of 10 x 0.7 meters is 1,160 individuals.Keywords: glass eel, size, abundance, Poigar River.ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui komposisi ukuran panjang dan kelimpahan ‘‘glass eel’’ sidat Anguilla spp yang bermigrasi di muara Sungai Poigar. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan setiap bulan selama empat bulan pada fase bulan baru. Tempat sampling pada satu sisi muara Sungai Poigar, dengan membuat lintasan sepanjang 10 meter searah aliran sungai. Alat tangkap yang digunakan adalah seser (handy scoop net) berbentuk segitiga dengan panjang 100 cm dan lebar 75 cm. Hasil tangkapan Glass eel sidat selama empat bulan (dari bulan April sampai Juli 2018) sebanyak 3.551 individu. Rata-rata panjang (± SD) pada bulan April 44,4±1,4 cm, Mei 48,7±1,6 cm, Juni 51,1±2,0 cm dan Juli 51,1±2,4 cm. Jumlah tangkapan terbanyak pada bulan Mei 1.841 individu, diikuti bulan Juni 785, bulan Juli 860 individu dan bulan April sebanyak 55 individu. Rata-rata kepadatan sidat pada bulan April, Mai, Juni dan Juli 2018 yang bermigrasi dalam wilayah sampling 10 x 0,7 meter adalah 1.160 individu.Kata kunci: glass eel, ukuran, kelimpahan, Sungai Poigar.
This research aims to determine the types or species of gastropod and its distribution in mangrove forests in Tongkeina village and to know the species of mangrove in Tongkeina village. The Research was conducted on one sampling point with one 100 meters long line transect which was is laid perpendicular to the outer direction of the mangrove. To collect gastropod samples, three quadrates with a size of 10x10meters with a distance between the quadrate 5 meters were made. In the quadrate, 15 subquadrates sized 1x1meters were also made. Based on the results, there were 6 species of gastropods and two distribution patterns of i.e., Cluster the species of the Littoraria scabra, Angustassiminea castanea, Terebralia sulcate. The uniform distribution pattern is Ischinocerithium rostratum, Caliostoma jujubinum, and Nerita senegalensis. There are ten mangrove species found and the most common species is Soneratia alba with a total of 27 individuals.Keywords: Gastropods, forest, Mangrove, Tongkeina village ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Jenis-jenis gastropoda serta persebaran pada hutan mangrove di Kelurahan Tongkeina dan untuk mengetahui Jenis-jenis mangrove di Kelurahan Tongkeina. Penelitian hanya di lakukan satu titik pengambilan sampel dimana dibuat 1 line transek dengan Panjang 100meter yang di tarik tegak lurus dari arah terluar mangrove kemudian dibuat 3 kuadrat dengan ukuran 10x10meter dengan jarak antara kuadrat 5 meter, dan di dalam kuadrat dibuat 15 subkuadrat berukuran 1x1 meter. Berdasarkan penelitian hasil ditemukan ada 6 spesies gastopoda dan dua pola persebaran Gastropoda yaitu mengelompok dan seragam, spesies mengelompok yaitu Littoraria scabra, Angustassiminea castanea, Terebralia sulcate. Pola persebaran seragam yaitu Ischinocerithium rostratum, Caliostoma jujubinum, Nerita senegalensis. Mangrove ditemukan 10 Spesies yang terbanyak adalah Soneratia alba dengan jumlah 27 individu.Kata kunci: Gastropoda, Hutan, Mangrove, Kelurahan Tongkeina.
Artificial reefs already placed in the coast of the village of Arakan, South Minahasa regency since June 2015. Artificial reef, that would be the location of research are concrete and iron, mostly be the medium of coral transplantation. The pupose of the research are (1). To know the species coral reef fish (2). To know the number of each species and the density of the coral reef fish (3). To know the structure of coral reef fish communities. Data retrieval be done use with Visual Census Method in the 51 squaremeter area (lenght = 8,5 m, width = 6 m). This research find 15 families with 29 coral reef fish species and 1341 individual. The diversity index of artificial reefs with moderate diversity index and relative abudance is found in species Dascyllus trimaculatus 34,731 %, Plotosus lineatus 21,593 %, and Dascyllus reticulatus 21,174 %.Keywords: Artificial reef, Community Structure, Arakan. ABSTRAKTerumbu buatan sudah diletakan pada perairan desa Arakan Kabupaten Minahasa Selatan pada bulan Juni 2015. Terumbu buatan yang menjadi lokasi penelitian berjenis beton dan besi, model yang terbuat dari besi lebih banyak diarahkan sebagai media transplantasi karang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) Mengetahui kekayaan spesies ikan karang (2) Mengetahui kelimpahan individu dan kepadatan relatif ikan karang (3) Mengetahui struktur komunitas ikan karang. Pegambilan data dilakukan menggunakan metode Sensus Visual dengan luas pengamatan pada terumbu buatan seluas 51 m2 (panjang = 8,5 meter dan lebar = 6 meter). Penelitian ini menemukan 15 famili dengan 29 spesies ikan karang dan kelimpahan individu total 1341 individu. Indeks keanekaragaman di daerah terumbu buatan dengan nilai indeks keanegaraman yang sedang dengan indeks dominasi rendah dan kelimpahan relatif terdapat pada spesies Dascyllus trimaculatus dengan nilai 34,731 %, Plotosus lineatus dengan nilai 21,593 %, dan Dascyllus reticulatus dengan nilai 21,174 %.Kata Kunci : Terumbu Buatan, Struktur Komunitas, Arakan.
