The article partially deals with the peculiarities of epidemiological discourse and the creation of secondary names (COVID neologisms), which have not been covered much before. In particular, socially significant innovative phenomena are described: the total transition of COVID-neologisms to an active commonly used lexicon, semantic and structural changes of epidemiological discourse through destructive influence on doctors and ordinary citizens. It was found that the main reason for the rapid dynamics and specified structural-semantic changes of epidemiological discourse and the creation in its environment of secondary names is a regular negative neuro pragmatic stimulation of protective mechanisms of the human psyche in complementary external (situational) conditions. The methods for elucidating these patterns were sociological observations of live drug speech; word-formation, semantic, pragmatic and comparative types of analysis and establishment of neuro pragmatic presupposition by extrapolation methods. The study was conducted on a limited sample of physicians of two specialties contrasted by neuro pragmatic parameters (epidemiologists and dentists). A total of 18 respondents. Therefore, the results of the study are framework, demonstrative and require extension in the mode of lexicographic and discursological expeditions, followed by the analysis of a sufficient number of linguistic phenomena. The international significance of the article lies in the fact that the authors have chosen the almost undiscovered problem of metamorphosis of epidemiological discourse at the intersection of linguistics and neuroscience, which encourages scientists to pay attention to the complex causes of the hypertrophic development and spread of epidemiological vocabulary and discourse in general.
The article analyzes the peculiarities of the formation of lexical compounds with a component of synesthesia perception. The relevance of the intelligence is not disputed given that mental basis of the nomination cannot be narrowed to the interests of ethnolinguistics, as the nomination of qualitative categories reveals not only national specifics of the text, but must be considered through the prism of an individual cognition with its subjective and effective factors of world perception as a certain domain of the conceptual and linguistic view of the world of a particular ethnic group. The article emphasizes that the construction of lexical compounds with a component of taste (“sweet”) is based largely on a motivated secondary nomination, generated by the brainwork of an individual, who somehow absorbs into his language creativity basic definitions and concepts of his nation. It is proved that the loss of “gustativity” of lexical compounds with the component “sweet” is due to rethinking direct nomination by layering additional semantic nuances and associative series, resulting in new metaphorical combinations with a certain assessment of a particular phenomenon or fact, which most vividly express both the peculiarities of the national mentality and the specifics of the language personality. It is determined that synesthesia worldview contributes not only to the formation of non-standard ideas about the world around us, but also generates further in-depth interest of researchers from different fields of knowledge about the existence of the concept of “objective reality”; emphasizes the definition of facts, processes, actions, qualities and gives them an original qualitative feature; allows fine differentiation of human states; organizes unexpected principles of lexical cohesion of literary speech, which, in turn, certainly nourishes the language.
The article deals with the main problems that cause labour migration processes. The influence of labour migration on the economy of the countries is investigated. It is proved that migration plays a significant role in the development of countries because it changes the economic and social situation of people. Based on the analysis, it has been established that labour resources from countries with relatively higher levels of gross domestic product per capita migrate to countries with high levels of development. Migrants from less developed countries take their place. It is analyzed that population migration has economic consequences for both migrants themselves and donor and recipient countries. These consequences can be positive and negative for participants in the migration process. It is generally accepted that the overall impact of migration on the exporting country has a positive effect. However, some effects on specific sectors of the economy, labour, or territory may be negative. The factors that encourage the population of Ukraine to migrate are distinguished. Ukraine is primarily a donor or provider of labour resources. Ukraine's population has been steadily declining as a result of demographic and emigration processes, and more recently due to the military conflict in the east. According to statistics, in 2018, 17.8% (3.2 million) of the able-bodied population of Ukraine worked abroad. On average, 7 to 9 million Ukrainians participate in the migration process annually. The main positive consequence of the labour migration of the Ukrainian population abroad is that the money received for the work done is returned to the country. Based on the results obtained, it was concluded that the state and scientists need to revise and rethink the strategy of Ukraine on labour migration issues. Much attention needs to be paid today to finding new ways, methods and mechanisms to influence emigration processes that will help slow down labour migration, as it can lead to higher inflation and slower economic growth.
The article is devoted to the study of the mechanisms of the secondary nomination of the qualitatively categorical paradigm through the prism of cognition, the choice of linguistic tools in particular, and the influence of linguistic personality in general. Issues of the bilateral relationship and mutual influence of the culture and language of the ethnic group, the formation of conceptual and linguistic pictures of world perception are considered. The article analyzes the peculiarities of the formation of lexical innovations in the modern Ukrainian language to denote different domains of the concept of "war". It traces lexical-semantic shifts influenced by the judgment of military aggression and criticism of political and war crimes committed by the aggressor country. The scientific research contains the elements of axiology since the linguistic analysis of lexical innovations makes it possible to clarify the mechanisms of verbalization of linguistic consciousness that are impelled by extralinguistic factors and realized with a vivid change of connotation (sometimes from zero) to strongly pejorative. The article emphasizes that the accelerated pace of the appearance of lexical innovations is dictated by the emotional state of native speakers. Therefore the mental basis of nomination is not limited to the laws and extralinguistic reasons for language development and is a category not only of ethnolinguistics but also of psycholinguistics and sociolinguistics, because it is formed through the prism of the cognition of an individual speaker and the whole society. Groups of innovations were identified and analyzed for the indication of the following lexical fields: „country”, „military”, „mobilized”, „politician”, „propagandist”, „weapons”, „attitude to the war”. The evident fact of the dynamics of the status and functions of the Ukrainian language lexical innovations in the conditions of the current Russian-Ukrainian war has been proven. The basis of their emergence has been determined, and the norm, the practice of using innovations, and the ways of their appearance have been outlined.
