Soft tissue injuries are a recurrent cause that affects the vast majority of the baseball population in the province. The objective of the research is the diagnostic and prophylactic ultrasound exploratory study of soft tissue injuries and physiotherapeutic intervention in the population studied. In the analysis of results, it was obtained that the shoulders with tendinitis and tenosynovitis were the most affected injuries, who achieved the best response to the third cycle of the physiotherapy treatment scheme and around 30 days of sessions were needed, with 97% clinical alterations of the lesions and 84% echographic alterations of diagnostic and prophylactic examinations. Ultrasounds as a diagnostic indication allowed confirming lesions and affected regions, guiding better treatment selections and responses to effectiveness; as a prophylactic indication, it allowed to identify hidden injuries fundamentally in pitchers.
This research uses regenerative medicine in degenerative arthropathy for sport, intending to demographically evaluate this population, general variables, and individuals of interest were assessed. In the percentage statistical analysis for the interpretation of results was obtained from the general variables, the predominance for males in the group of former athletes in the age range of 41 to 50 years, grade II of knee ostearthrosis as the region of anatomical location, and the most affected degree, the time of manifestation of the disease the eldest of the year of evolution, the over-use as an incidence factor for the onset of injury in the group of most affected sports treated, and as a treatment of implanted regenerative medicine most employed platelet-rich plasma (PRP). In particular variables of interest, the predominance in training, and the training cycle for the occurrence of the injury, and the competitive stage for athletes, and the general stage for former athletes, was obtained from the location for the occurrence of the injury.
Sports injuries in volleyball athletes are a frequent cause of medical consultation at the Provincial Center of Sports Medicine. An intervention study was carried out in the youth category of this sport, with the aim of to evaluate the effectiveness of the application of preventive measures and prophylactic physiotherapy treatment. In the interpretation of results, low back pain was obtained as the most significant with 50%, followed by strains and ligament ruptures with 25%; In the variable traumas and relationship with the variability of the affected regions, the highest percentage was observed in the trunk with lumbar injuries with 33.3%. Most of the population of athletes responded positively with 81.7% after the application of preventive measures and prophylactic physiotherapy treatment, thus demonstrating its effectiveness.
Osteoarthritis, or wear and tear of the knee joint, is a cause of sports trauma, affecting a large number of the population of former athletes in the province. The therapeutic alternative to gonoarthrosis exatlets implanted with regenerative therapy and rehabilitative exercises is applied to this sports-practicing population with balls. The assessment of variables, in responses to treatment implemented in the exathletes, was carried out over 6 months, where bilateral thigh atrophy prevailed over unilateral atrophy, to lesser degree atrophy of the affected thighs was presented after treatment with the applied therapeutic exercise program. 71.4% showed recovery of muscle strength with grade 5 (normal) muscle notes for the muscle group of knee flexor poplites, and 85.7% with grade 5 (normal) muscle notes for the femoral or crural quadriceps muscle group, which are involved in the extension of the knees. With the application of this exercise alternative in former athletes with gonoarthrosis treated with regenerative therapy, more than 70% showed recovery of the variables studied.
