This study aims to determine the effect of back massage using lavender essensial oils toward milk production of postpartum mother at Community Health Center of Yogyakarta city. The design ofthe study wasQuasiexperimentwithpost testonlynonequivalentcontrolgroupdesign.Thesampling technique isconsecutive sampling.There is 30 respondents for each group. The analysis used waschi-square test. The analysis results showed the treatment ofback massageusinglavenderis RR 3,33, it means thatit has chanceof 3,33times toincrease milk productionaftermassasecontrolled bytreatment, parity, BMI andfrequency of breastfeeding. The fifth modelis the bestmodelbecause it is ableto explainthe breastmilk productionby 26%.
Introduction: Unachieved exclusive breastfeeding is still a problem in Indonesia. During pandemic covid-19 situation, the condition required to keep the distance from other people resulting the limited access between breastfeeding mothers and midwives. The role of the closest person that is husband is needed to constantly provide support. The objective of this research is to determine the relationship between husband's support during the covid-19 pandemic with exclusive breastfeeding Methods: The type of research used is an analytic survey with a cross sectional method. The total population are 51 people and the sample of 45 people is taken using purposive sampling technique. Collecting data using questionnaire sheets given to respondents. Data analysis using Chi Square test (X2). Results: Based on analysis, we found that husband’s support has a significant association with the quality of exclusive breastfeeding with p=0.000. Conclusion: The result of the research informed husbands who want to provide support in the form of effective communication between husband and wife during the breastfeeding process, able to help breastfeeding mothers to keep the spirit of breastfeeding, and will help provide breast milk as the best food for their babies. There is a significant relationship between husband's support in the success of exclusive breastfeeding during the covid-19 pandemic.
Abstract:Posyandu (Integrated Service Post) is one form of Community-based Health Efforts (UKBM) carried out by, from and with the community, to empower and provide facilities to the community to obtain health services for mothers, infants and toddlers. In Posyandu activities there are indicators that determine the success of activities, one of which is the coverage of weighing toddlers as a form of community presence. The problem of coverage of underfive weighing in Indonesia was found to be the difference between the number of toddlers and toddlers weighed, namely 12,817,382 toddlers. This data was obtained from info Datin (Health Data and Information Center of the Republic of Indonesia) in 2014. In East Java Province an estimated number of toddlers was 2,985,934, and the number of toddlers weighed 1,588,030 so that there were still 50% that were not included in the coverage of underfive weighing. The results of the preliminary study of the number of children under five were present 45% irregularly in attendance each month. Even though nutrition monitoring with weight weighing must be done every month. While the monthly attendance limit for 1 year is 8 x. This presence needs cadre participation as part of the community itself. This study aims to determine whether there is the influence of the emotional demonstration method on increasing the coverage of underfive weighing. This study uses a one shot case study pre-experimental research design. The population is all under-five mothers in Sidodadi Village, which number 333 people. The sampling technique used is simple random sampling. Test Statistics used to see the relationship between variables bound to independent variables. The analysis used was the chi-square statistical test of significance level of 95% (alpha 0.05) using SPSS. The results of 333 respondents, mothers of children under five who came to the Posyandu village of Sidodadi, Probolinggo Regency in December 2018 - June 2019 before the emodemo were attended by 153 mothers and when there was an emodemo activity the number of attendees increased to 285 mothers who attended Keposyandu .. Test results statistic is pvalue <0.05. The conclusion of this study is that there is the influence of the emotional demonstration method on increasing the coverage of underfive weighing in the Posyandu village of Sidodadi.
Salah Satu upaya untuk mencegah terjadinya stunting adalah dengan menggunakan media puzzle Puzzel gizi. Media Puzzel Gizi ini, merupakan inovasi alat peraga dalam memberikan penyuluhan kesehatan tentang makanan pendamping ASI. Masyarakat harus diberikan bekal pengetahuan sehingga terjadi perubahan perilaku dalam pemenuhan gizi yang tepat. Stunting ini dapat kita cegah dengan mendukung gizi 1000 hari pertama kehidupan berupa keberhasilan pemberian Makanan Pendamping ASI.Hasil penelitian yang pernah dilakukan yaitu efektifitas kelas nenek terhadap keberhasilan pemenuhan gizi asi eksklusif dan makanan pendamping ASI, dari proses penelitian saat terjun ke masyarakat ditemukan masih banyak ibu ibu yang tidak mengerti tentang menu seimbang 4 bintang. Dari hasil penelitian sebelumnya didapatkan juga masyarakt sudah pernah mendapatkan penyuluhan tentang menu seimbang 4 bintang tetapi tidak ada perubahan perilaku. Metode ceramah yang dilakukan saat penyampaikan informasi tidak dapat merubah semua masyarakat untuk mengganti pola asuh pemberian makan pada bayi. Masyarakat juga perlu disampaikan tentang bahaya penggunaan bubur instans. Menu seimbang 4 bintang ini adalah pilihan yang dapat mengarah pada makanan alami/ buatan sendiri tanpa bahan pengawet. Tujuan pengabdian masyarakat ini untuk pemberdayaan masyarakat dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan tingginya stunting dengan pemenuhan gizi yang tepat. Pengabdian masyarakat ini menggunakan metode simulasi dalam penyampaian menu seimbang 4 bintang dengan media puzzle gizi dan demontrasi menu. Sasaran pada pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah ibu yang memiliki bayi berusia 5-6 bulan di desa penambangan. Jumlah dari sasaran penelitian berjumlah 15 orang yang tersebar dari 2 posyandu
