A microwave photonic scheme for analog radio frequency (RF) interference cancellation is proposed based on counter-phase cancellation. In the proposed system, only the parameters of a laser source are adjusted to achieve incoherent optical subtraction, which has a compact structure with stable operation. The proposed system is verified by a proof-of-concept experiment in which 65-and 40-dB interference cancellations are obtained for single-frequency and wideband signals, respectively.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
