This study aims to determine government policies that affect tourism, the role of village governments in tourism development, the relationship between village governments and capital owners and the use of traditional home homestay as Lake Toba tourism icons in Situngkir Village. The research used was a qualitative descriptive study and the location of this study was in Situngkir Village, Pangururan District, Samosir Regency. Data collection is carried out in research using observations, interviews, and documentation as data collection techniques. Based on the results of research that in the Situngkir Village there is a village government system policy that affects tourism, the role of the village government in fostering tourism in the community and maintaining the relationship of the village government with capital owners for the development progress and the economy of the community in the tourism area. In terms of the use of traditional home homestays as tourism icons that have not been maximized, which of course government policy here is urgently needed to develop the progress of tourism and the community's economy.
Pengembangan musikalitas melalui bunyi-bunyi alam sangat membantu mahasiswa dalam mengembangkan musikalitas yang dimilikinya, khususnya dalam mengembangkan melodi, irama dan harmoni. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengembangan musikalitas mahasiswa Prodi Pendidikan Musik melalui bunyi-bunyi alam yang ada di sekitarnya. Bunyi-bunyi alam tersebut terlebih dahulu diobservasi, diidentifikasi, kemudian membuat imitasi berdasarkan unsur-unsur musikalitasnya (melodi, irama, harmoni), memainkan dan mengkreasikannya menjadi satu komposisi musik. Melalui pengembangan musikalitas dengan bunyi-bunyi alam, kemudian mahasiswa mengeluarkan ide-ide kreatifnya dengan mewujudkan bunyi-bunyi yang didengarnya. Kreativitas mahasiswa dalam mengembangkan bunyi-bunyi alam dapat dilihat dari menemukan topik atau gagasan, menemukan suara alam sebagai sumber bunyi, mengkomposisikannya menjadi enak untuk didengar dan diapresiasikan kepada orang lain. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi pada khazanah ilmu pengetahuan khususnya di bidang kajian Pendidikan musik.
Bunyi gondang hasapi mengalun dari dalam parsantian (rumah ibadah) mengiringi Ihutan (pemimpin agama) yang berdiri paling depan diantara kepulan dupa dari sanganonna, sambil manortor (menari) yang diikuti semua pengikutnya yang manatea (menari sambil duduk bersila). Asap (dupa) yang berasal dari sanganon (sebagai simbol alat pemanasnya) dan perasan jeruk purut sebagai pangurason untuk air pemandiannya, kain putih (hio putih) sebagai kain pembalutnya (abit sabinna) serta kain panjang tenun (ulos jugia na so pipot) sebagai kain gendongannya. Dalam upacara ini, Simarimbulubosi dipercayai berkenan menerima "sembah" dari orang yang percaya kepadanya dengan bentuk "sembah"nya adalah persembahan bermacam pelean (sesaji). Persembahan pelean (sesaji) tersebut terdiri dari kambing putih dan ayam "berwarna hitam bercampur putih" (jarumbosi) dan sesaji lainnya sebagai kurban untuk menyambut hari kelahirannya.
The high level of need of dance artists in North Sumatra for digital audio of Malay ritual dance music while the digital material is not publicly available. This triggers researchers to conduct research on the use of this cubase music software as an alternative in the process of packaging the learning material of musical accompaniment of the Gobuk Bedagai Malay ritual dance into digital audio. The method used in this study is an experimental approach to the process of packaging the learning material of musical accompaniment of the Gobuk Bedagai Malay ritual dance into digital audio. The packaging process by recording audio and video ritual dance performances in the coastal areas of North Sumatra Malay. The results of this study indicate that the process of creating digitalization consists of recording, editing, mixing and mastering using cubase.
