This research aimed to test the effect of multimedia and lecturer-student interaction on student engagement in students of the Faculty of Economics, Universitas Negeri Padang. This type of research was descriptive quantitative. The sample was taken by using the Slovin formula with 358 respondents. The measure used in the study was the likert scale. The type of data used in this study was primary data obtained through the dissemination of questionnaires to students of the Faculty of Economics, Universitas Negeri Padang. The analysis method used SEM PLS analysis using SmartPLS 3.0. The results of this study showed that: lecturer-student interaction had a significant effect on student engagement. Multimedia had a significant effect on lecturer-student interaction. Multimedia had no significant effect on student engagement. The implication of this study was that empirically in learning that online student interaction was very necessary in order to increase student involvement in learning. Then, the use of multimedia affected student involvement in learning. The future research agenda needs to study more deeply the use of multimedia on student involvement in learning.
This study aims to know the effect of economic growth as measured by the real GDP growth rate at constant prices on the level of poverty in the districts / cities of West Sumatra in a period of 10 years, from 2011 to 2020. This study uses secondary data obtained from the publication of the central bureau of statistics. The analysis used in this study used panel data linear regression analysis using a fixed effect model approach. The results of this study indicate that the rate of economic growth has a significant negative effect on poverty levels. This means that increased economic growth can reduce the level of poverty in the regency / cities of West Sumatra.Keywords: poverty, pdrb, economic growth
The entrepreneurial ecosystem is currently emerging as a major topic for researchers. An important question in entrepreneurship research, about how ecosystems can contribute in creating entrepreneurs and the sustainability of their businesses in the future. This article was written using a systematic literature review method that analyzed 60 conceptual and empirical articles. Sequenced 1005 documents sourced from ScienceDirect to explore, analyze, and discuss the contribution of the entrepreneurial ecosystem in the literature on the topic of sustainable entrepreneurship. This literature review classifies six keyword clusters of entrepreneurship ecosystem: entrepreneurship and entrepreneurship ecosystem, entrepreneurship education ecosystem, entrepreneurial university, entrepreneurship learning innovation, digital entrepreneurship, and business ecosystem. Where the entrepreneurship education ecosystem and entrepreneurship university are important ecosystems in the beginning of entrepreneurial sustainability. We suggest the existence of learning innovations in entrepreneurship education to support the achievement of sustainable entrepreneurship and link it to the business ecosystem of service companies, trade, and industry.
<p>The success of the Sidogiri Islamic Boarding School in building a financial business network has been recognized nationally. Sidogiri is a boarding school with the largest business unit in Indonesia. This study aims to interpret the business spirit of Islamic boarding schools. This study uses a case study research design at the Sidogiri Islamic boarding school, Pasuruan. The unit of analysis for this research is the kyai as caregivers, teachers or ustadz, business unit administrators, students, alumni, and the community. Methods of data collection using observation, interviews, analysis of financial statements, and analysis of documentation. Qualitative research design with a case study model. Data analysis and data validity testing used source triangulation, method triangulation, and time triangulation techniques. The findings of this study indicate that (1) the spirit of financial institutions is the religious spirit to leave the business that contains usury, (2) the business education carried out by the Sidogiri Islamic boarding school uses a programmed curriculum in madrasah dinniyah (3) an integrated education curriculum between theory, practice, internship, assignment curriculum to manage financial business units (4) business education is given to students at the senior level madrasah dinniyah with fan mu'amalah (5) students who graduate are given the task of managing financial business units (6) the boarding school together with alumni create business unit branches, and (7 ) business unit management is left to alumni</p>
