This paper presents the research of several key technologies during the implementation of cold-rolling aluminum surface defect detection system, including the difficulty of achieving these key technologies and the improvement of image processing algorithm. Through the installation and commissioning on actual production line, summarize and analyze the requirements of the hardware and software design for highly reflective aluminum plate, to achieve the control of product quality at present.
According to the autocorrelation function (ACF) of the ultrafine particles, the auto-regressive (AR) model used for dynamic light scattering (DLS) signals simulation can be established. By the method, DLS signals for nanoparticles distribution are simulated respectively and every ACF of simulation signal performs a great agreement with its theory value. The simulation signals were respectively inversed and inversion errors are less than 5.25%. The particles size inversions of Photon Correlation Spectroscopy (PCS) are obtained by Morozov discrepancy principle. Experiments show that the method based on AR model is feasible in DLS signal simulation.
Photon correlation technique is an effective method for measuring the particle size of sub-micron particles and nanoparticles. This technology has a good prospect and commercial value. Photon correlator is used in photon correlation spectroscopy experiment to gain the photon correlation function. In order to obtain the accurate values of the photon correlation, efficient and accurate photon correlator must be designed. This paper presents one kind of photon correlator implemented by FPGA. The programming language used is Verilog HDL. The software design and system simulation are completed in the integration circumstance of ISE. The photon correlator can meet the different requirements of photon correlation.
The study and application of the coordination controller in Web Inspection System (WIS) involves the field of industrial inspection and machine vision technology. The online WIS consists of roller equipment, coordination controller, switch controller, a number of cameras, image management system and management server. Coordination controller based on FPGA design and the LVDS interface, CAN bus interface, is connected through the line with roller equipment, switch controller and a number of camera management server. The CCD camera is connected through the line with image processing systems, and the image processing system connected with management server. Coordinated controller uses a modular design to coordinate control system operation, reduce the CPU load and improve the efficiency of paper defect detection. It is also highly integrated, and able to reduce cabling and costs, so as to raise the efficiency of the controller development, reduce staff workload and improve the working environment.
This paper presents an on-line surface defects detection system based on machine vision, which has high speed architecture and can perform high accurate detection for cold-rolled aluminum plate. The system consists of high speed camera and industrial personal computer (IPC) array which connected through Gigabit Ethernet, achieved seamless detection by redundant control. In order to acquire high processing speed, single IPC as processor receives from and deals with only one or two cameras' image. Experimental results show that the system with high accurate detection capability can satisfy the requirement of real time detection and find out the defects on the production line effectively.
