Abstract-A new broadband multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) antenna with good isolation and compact size is proposed. The proposed antenna consists of two G-shaped elements in the upper layer and two inverted L protrude branches and a T slot etched in ground which is used to reduce the mutual coupling. This planar antenna has a bandwidth of 100% with |S 11 | ≤ −10 dB from 2.26 to 6.78 GHz. The value of isolation between the two antenna elements is more than 22.5 dB in the whole band. The experimental results verify the simulations.
A novel approach to enhance bandwidth of slot MIMO antenna is proposed. It is found that loading a stub in a dipole or slot antenna can control high-order resonant modes of the antenna to realize a multimode radiator as a multimode resonator in filters, which can effectively enhance the bandwidth of the antenna. As an example, a slot antenna with a stub-loaded dual-mode radiator is described. An explanation on its operating principle is given. In order to prove the approach is applicable, a slot MIMO antenna with a stub-loaded dual-mode radiator is designed for mobile handsets. Finally, the approach is extended to a slot MIMO antenna with a loaded-multi-slot-stub multimode radiator. Both of the two MIMO antennas are fabricated and measured to verify the predicted performance.
Electromagnetic radiation harm human health serious, indoor household appliances electromagnetic radiation spectrum, not only more, but also broad. In order to effectively detect the indoor electromagnetic wave, the paper puts forward an antenna electromagnetic detection, using slotted and add a high impedance method such as micro-strip to broadening the broadband antenna. Through the simulate analysis of HFSS, The results show that-10dB return loss bandwidth covers a frequency range between 0. 14 GHz and6. 3 GHz. In other words, the relative bandwidth is 191. 3%.
