) based on thermally coupled levels (TCLs) increases gradually with an increase in matrix phonon energy. The absolute sensitivity (

). The results of the correlation between the UC luminescence properties and the microscopic crystal structure, and the relationship of the temperature sensitivity and the host parameters, provide us with a guiding insight for the selection of a host material with ideal temperature measurement capability.
In this paper, Yb3+/RE3+ (RE=Er/Ho) co-doped Zn3Mo2O9 phosphors are synthesized by high temperature solid state reaction. Under 980 nm excitation, The upconversion(UC) luminescence thermal enhancement is obtained for Zn3Mo2O9:Yb3+/RE3+ phosphors....
Phosphors with rare earth (RE) ions are widely applied to optical temperature measurement. Moreover, the near-infrared (NIR) emission of phosphor has potential applications at biological field. Herein, the Gd2O3:xNd3+/Yb3+(0.02 ≤...
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
