Era disruspi memperlihatkan kecanggihan teknologi informasi yang berdampak pada gaya interaksi warga negara muda. Namun muncul persoalan baru yang semakin kompleks, yaitu banyaknya kejahatan dengan menggunakan kecanggihan teknologi informasi itu. Artikel ini menjelaskan pentingnya literasi media bagi warga negara muda di era disrupsi. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode studi kasus, sementara teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pemenuhan kebutuhan informasi dan gaya interaksi warga negara muda telah bergerak mengikuti kecanggihan teknologi informasi di era disrupsi. Mengakses berita online, mempelajari riset terbaru, menonton khotbah adalah pilihan-pilihan bebas warga negara muda. Jaminan kebutuhan informasi dan gaya interaksi yang sehat bagi mereka adalah literasi media. Literasi media melatih kemampuan mereka untuk menginterpretasi, menganalisis, dan mengevaluasi informasi secara benar. Jadi, literasi media menjadi preferensi mereka untuk melihat dengan lebih tajam kebenaran pesan di media, kemudian mengkritisi jika dianggap mengandung resiko. Maka, diharapkan kepada mereka yang hidup di era disrupsi agar mempelajari pengetahuan tentang literasi media.
Education is one of the human development index of Indonesia, certainly requires analysis and philosophical thinking to formulate the fundamental purpose and deep. Writing aims to examine the thinking of education in Indonesia and contributions as well as the implications in the world of education. Philosophically, the thoughts of a character education Indonesia was influenced by the ideology of Pancasila. In addition, historical background and religion also affect the flow of thought the character of education.
Idealisme pembentukan watak kewarganegaraan (civic disposition) menuju peradaban bangsa yang bermartabat dan menjadikan warga negara yang baik dan cerdas (smart and good citizen) merupakan misi suci (mission sacre) dari civic education.Implementasi pembelajaran civic education di Indonesia terlalu menekankan pada aspek kognitif dan mengabaikan aspek afektif, sehingga hanya menciptakan warga negara yang cerdas namun kurang memiliki watak yang baik. Penulisan ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan tentang hakikat pembelajaran civic education, konsep civic dispostion dalam civic educationdan pembelajaran civic cducation untuk mengembangkan civic disposition. Salah satu kunci keberhasilan yang amat penting dalam mengembangkan civic disposition dengan menggunakan pendekatan pembelajaran berbasis nilai (value based approach).
This paper was motivated by the researchers concern about the moral values contained in Ambonese pop songs then and Now. Pop songs communicate their messages through the words contained in each verse of their lyrics, but the song lyrics often do not transmit good moral values. Ambon as the city of music should pay attention to every song that is produced to make sure the songs uphold good moral values in their lyrics. This study aims to find out the subjective evaluation of Ambon City people about the moral values contained in Ambonese pop songs and the efforts of Ambon City/Municipal Government to control Ambonese pop songs circulating in the community. This study used a qualitative research design with a case study method. This method was chosen because the researchers would like to compare in detail and thoroughly the moral values contained in Ambonese pop songs then and now in the perspective of the community, analyse the moral values contained in the songs, and find out the efforts made by the Government of Ambon City as part of its responsibility to develop Ambon as a city of music. The findings show that Ambonese pop songs now convey messages about love, longing, affection, destruction, divorce, and many more messages that have negative impacts on the community; on the contrary, Ambonese pop songs of the past convey messages relating to positive things, representing real social, cultural, economic, comedic, and other events that really happened at that time. The government's efforts cannot be said to have been successful in the control over the songs. If this problem is left unaddressed, it will negatively affect the moral and behaviour of the younger generations of Maluku, especially Ambon City, distancing the generations from the values of Maluku civilization.
Abstract-This paper was based on researcher anxiety of the spread of hoax in mass media in one last decade in Indonesia and in fact, the citizen had been accustomed from a long time to receive hoax presented by journalists to mass media. To prevent the trap of hoax, then civic skill is needed which is formed through mass media literacy as the effective way for each citizen. This study was aimed to study mass media literacy as the basis for civic skill formation in students of civic education in Pattimura University. Mass media literacy becomes the main asset for civic education students to lead various opinions in mass media so saving their common sense.
