Automation is a technology used to carry out work processes or procedures without human assistance. Greenhouse automation is carried out related to the many operational activities in the greenhouse that involve many human repetitive activities. Some of them are related to fertilizing, watering, spraying pesticides and others. In the current era of the industrial revolution 4.0, manual activities that use human labor began to diminish and were replaced with automated systems and devices in order to streamline the operation of a work field,. PLCs can be defined as a micro-computer based controllers that use instructions stored in memory that can be programmed to implement logic, sequencing, timing, counting and arithmetic functions through digital or analog input / output (I / O) modules, to control machines and processes. This PLC is commonly used in the industrial world as an automation tool for production machines. PLC can be implemented as an automation tool in a greenhouse in this case as an automatic watering system for plants. This research resulted in a prototype of an automatic watering system on a clock based and combined clock-sensor based greenhouse that can run simultaneously on the same PLC.
<p><strong><em>Abstract.</em></strong><strong><em> </em></strong><em>The purpose of this service activity is to make the design proposals for production facilities in Peyek Ayu Bu Mul's MSMEs that are still less orderly, which causes a less effective movement of labor and raw materials (not needed). The proposed layout of production facilities is expected to facilitate production activities and eliminate unnecessary labor or raw material movements. Service begins with observation to find out the way and production flow of the project. Observation of the location of the production site needs to be done to find out the initial layout of the production site. The next step is to create an ARC (Activity Relationship Chart). This diagram is used to determine the closeness relationship and the reason for the proximity of each department/unit/space in the production location. The use of production flow analysis and ARC diagrams resulted in the proposed layout of production facilities at Peyek Ayu Bu Mul. The results of community service activities at MSME Peyek Ayu Bu Mul are MSME owners Peyek Ayu Bu Mul understands the importance of the layout of production facilities for the smooth production. MSME Peyek Ayu Bu Mul was interested in implementing the proposed layout of production facilities that had been made because it could improve the performance of the production. This service concluded that the design of the production facility layout by considering the production flow and production layout can help smooth production.</em></p><p><strong>Abstrak.</strong><strong> </strong>Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah membuat usulan rancangan tata letak fasillitas produksi di UMKM Peyek Ayu Bu Mul yang masih kurang teratur sehingga menyebabkan pergerakan tenaga kerja dan bahan baku yang kurang efektif (tidak diperlukan). Usulan rancangan tata letak fasilitas produksi ini diharapkan dapat memperlancar kegiatan produksi dan menghapus gerakan tenaga kerja atau bahan baku yang tidak diperlukan. Pengabdian dimulai dengan observasi untuk mengetahui cara dan aliran produksi peyek. Selain itu, observasi lokasi produksi peyek perlu dilakukan untuk mengetahui layout awal tempat produksi. Langkah selanjutnya yaitu dengan membuat ARC (<em>Activity Relationship Chart</em>). Diagram ini digunakan untuk mengetahui hubungan kedekatan dan alasan kedekatan setiap departemen/unit/ruang dalam lokasi produksi. Penggunaan analisis aliran produksi dan diagram ARC menghasilkan usulan rancangan tata letak fasilitas produksi di UMKM Peyek Ayu Bu Mul. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat di UMKM Peyek Ayu Bu Mul adalah pemilik UMKM Peyek Ayu Bu Mul lebih memahami pentingnya tata letak fasilitas produksi untuk kelancaran produksi peyek. Selain itu, UMKM Peyek Ayu Bu Mul tertarik untuk menerapkan usulan tata letak fasilitas produksi yang dibuat oleh pengabdi karena dapat meningkatkan kinerja dari produksi peyek. Kesimpulan dari pengabdian ini adalah bahwa perancangan tata letak fasilitas produksi dengan mempertimbangkan aliran produksi dan tata letak produksi dapat membantu kelancaran produksi.</p><p> </p>
Batik is a painting or drawing on mori fabric that is made with canting tools. In Subsequent developments to speed up the process, stamp batik is used. CNC (Computer Numerical Control) based automatic stamp batik machine has been developed. This machine uses a manual batik stamper in the batik stamp (tool). The problem that arises in the use of manual chucking on this automatic stamp batik machine is the amount of time needed in the replacement and setting of the batik stamp. The design of a CNC based automatic batik machine with automatic gripper has been developed. This automatic gripper combined with the CNC based automatic stamp batik machine is programmed using a combination of G-Code for the CNC and ladder diagram for the PLC (Programmable Logic Control). Based on the design that has been applied to batik stamps produced stamping that is more consistent and has better accuracy than manual stamping. The average difference in wax thickness is 0,003 mm and has 75 seconds slower than manual stamping. This means that even though the automatic gripper provides better accuracy and precision, it sacrifices stamping times.
<p><strong><em>Abstract.</em></strong> <em>SME Minanisa is an SME in the field of frozen food industry. The production process at UKM Minanisa does not yet have written standards or procedures. This allows the occurrence of work accidents and the large variety of products produced in the production process. The purpose of this service is to design a written document that describes the sequence of work steps in production activities (SOP). This service is carried out by interview and observation to the business location. The result of this dedication is the design of SOP which is expected to improve the production process to run better.</em></p><p><strong>Abstrak.</strong> UKM Minanisa merupakan UKM yang bergerak di industri frozen food. Proses produksi pada UKM Minanisa belum memiliki standar atau prosedur yang tertulis. Hal ini memungkinkan terjadinya kecelakaan kerja dan banyaknya variansi produk yang dihasilkan di proses produksi. Tujuan dari pengabdian ini adalah merancang suatu dokumen tertulis yang menjelaskan urutan langkah-langkah kerja dalam kegiatan produksi (SOP). Pengabdian ini dilaksanakan dengan wawancara dan observasi di lokasi usaha. Hasil pengabdian ini adalah rancangan SOP yang diharapkan dapat memperbaiki proses produksi berjalan lebih baik.</p>
<p><strong><em>Abstract.</em></strong> <em>Cost of Production (HPP) is an important element to assess the success (performance) of a trading or manufacturing company. Especially in determining the selling price and calculating the profit and loss of each product. Based on observations and interviews with “KREES” Banana Chips and Cheese Stick SME Owners, it is known that there are difficulties in recognizing what cost components must be calculated, thus causing difficulties in determining the optimal selling price to increase profits. The purpose of carrying out PKM activities is to provide assistance in calculating the Cost of Production (HPP) for UKM Banana Chips and Cheese Sticks "KREES".The method used in this dedication is in the form of face-to-face in delivering material, debriefing and discussing the calculation of the cost of production. The result of this mentoring and training is that partners understand enough about the material provided. So far, partners have indirectly carried out simple calculations in determining the cost of production so that the material provided is easily accepted. The impact of this service is an increase in partners' knowledge of the cost components for calculating the cost of production. Partners are helped by the report format for calculating the cost of production made by servants. This format assists partners in detailing the cost components used in calculating the cost of production. Another impact is that the financial records are more orderly and neat so as to increase the accuracy of calculating the cost of production.</em><em></em></p><p> </p><p><strong>Abstrak.</strong> Harga Pokok Produksi (HPP) merupakan elemen penting untuk menilai keberhasilan (performance) dari perusahaan dagang maupun manufaktur. Terutama dalam penetuan harga jual dan menghitung laba rugi dari setiap produk. Berdasarkan pengamatan dan wawancara dengan Pemilik UKM Keripik Pisang dan Stick Keju “KREESS”, diketahui adanya kesulitan untuk mengenali komponen biaya apa saja yang harus dihitung, sehingga menyebabkan kesulitan dalam menentukan harga jual yang optimal untuk meningkatkan keuntungan. Tujuan dilakukannya kegiatan PKM adalah untuk memberikan pendampingan dalam menghitung Harga Pokok Produksi (HPP) pada UKM Keripik Pisang dan Stick Keju “KREESS”. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini adalah dalam bentuk tatap muka dalam penyampaian materi, tanya jawab serta pembahasan perhitungan harga pokok produksi. Hasil dari pendampingan dan pelatihan ini yaitu mitra cukup paham akan materi yang diberikan. Selama ini mitra secara tidak langsung sudah melakukan perhitungan sederhana dalam menetapkan harga pokok produksi sehingga materi yang diberikan mudah diterima. Dampak pengabdian ini adalah peningkatan pengetahuan mitra tentang komponen biaya untuk perhitungan harga pokok produksi. Mitra terbantu dengan format laporan perhitungan harga pokok produksi yang dibuatkan oleh pengabdi. Format ini membantu mitra dalam merinci komponen biaya yang digunakan dalam perhitungan harga pokok produksi. Dampak lainnya yaitu pencatatan keuangan semakin teratur dan rapi sehingga meningkatkan akurasi HPP.</p><div id="gtx-trans" style="position: absolute; left: 439px; top: 513.667px;"> </div>
