The purpose: The purpose of this study was to find the impact of organizational commitment and Job satisfaction on nurses’ job performance. Methodology: The study conducted at the hospital of Ibn al-Athir and employed a quantitative method by structured questionnaires to collect the data. 200 questionnaires were distributed randomly and only 108 valid surveys likewise; the valid questionnaires have been analyzed by SPSS to exam the impact of organizational commitment and job satisfaction on job performance. Findings: the results indicated there is a positive and significant impact of Job satisfaction on nurses' performance. However, the three components of organizational commitment, Affective Commitment, Continuance Commitment, and Normative Commitment have a positive and significant impact on nurse's performance. The findings of this research indicate that employees ' job satisfaction and organizational commitment components play a critical role in nurses' performance. Implications: of this study to enrich the body of literature in the context of Iraq, which is suffering from a lack of studies related to nurses' performance. Novelty: the study provided useful and valuable recommendations to hospitals to increase nurse performance in the context of Iraq.
The purpose of this study is to find the relationship between organizational justice (OJ) and organizational commitment (OC) among secondary school teachers. The sample consisted of 98 teachers working in 8 public secondary schools. OJ consists of three dimensions, namely, distributive justice (DJ), procedural justice (PJ), and interactional justice (IJ) which were used to measure the level of perception of justice among teachers, whereas to determine the level of commitment among teachers, the study used OC questionnaire. Pearson correlation and regression analysis methods were used to find the relationship and the impact of OJ on OC. The main findings of the study indicated that there is a positive and significant relationship between OJ dimensions and OC; DJ found highly correlated with OC. However, PJ and IJ positively and significantly predicted OC among secondary school teachers. The study could provide some significant literature contributions on the OJ and OC of secondary school teachers in developing countries.
The overtime is an extra effort to ensure that the job or duty is completed. In private universities, overtime is needed to cover all hours of the courses and this may affect in a good or bad way on the lecture "depending on the number of extra hours". This research highlights the importance of overtime and how it affects the performance of private universities. The (SPSS) program has been used to analyze the data. 34 questionnaire papers were obtained out of 40 have been distributed on employees at Knowledge University. The study found that there is a strong relationship between employees' Productivity and factors (Wages, Environment and Health, Job content and IT skill). Moreover, there is a weak relationship between Employees' Productivity and factors (Work Arrangement, Stress–Satisfaction).
This research paper presents the workplace cultural diversity of a developing country (Iraq) and its role to make the position is better than before. This paper will examine the vision of diversity, diversity in an organization, and the cultural diversity in the workplace, and its role to help the organization in its success. The research methods were used to recognize the importance of cultural diversity, using a framework with specific measures, to evaluate the points of view of administrators and decision-makers in a number of companies in Kurdistan region of Iraq. The researchers concluded that many of the respondents didn’t complain or suffer from racism in their companies in Kurdistan region of Iraq, and many of the respondents believe that their companies encourage the cultural diversity. Also, the researchers recommend that organizations in Kurdistan region of Iraq should organize conferences, meetings, and seminars to encourage the cultural diversity.
In the last few years in Kurdistan in general and in Erbil especially many fast-food restaurant opening, and they sales are rise up every day with increased customer turnout to these kind of restaurant .All that affect in badly way on working in these kinds of restaurant from cleaning, serving, safety, preparing the equipment for customer orders So, we depend the relationship between some diseases (Obesity, Diabetes, Heart disease, Blood pressure) and fast-food consumption to measure how these factors (diseases) impacting with fast –food. We distribute 80 questioners and get 65 in different fast-food restaurant at family mall-Erbil. The results and findings of this research are analyzed by SPSS to build analysis and draw conclusion. The research findings showed distinctive relation between measuring factors.
