This research describes a social movement conducted by KMBPL (Komunitas Masyarakat Bojonegara Peduli Lingkungan), this movement (KMBPL) against the mining activity of excavation C in Bojonegara, Serang regency. This movement was born from the phenomenon of environmental destruction caused by mining excavation C in Bojonegara. The impact of this industrial activity is destruction of mountain in Bojonegara area, this study using social movement theory through phenomenological approach, the result of this research shows that environmental movement by KMBPL actively against mining activity. For several times they are try to stopped the mining activity and blocking the area. The result from this research shows that Banten as emerging province in Indonesa must engage the civil society movement especially in environment issues and KMBPL in this studies succeed to defense their commitment for better environment, it could be a model to organize movement in environmental issues in Banten.
One of the problems that become a threat to food security in Indonesia is agricultural degeneration. Recently, to perceive the food security issues is how collaborative governance works and how many actors enggage to create food security. the problematic issues is function of agricultural land occurs in the form of changes in the use of agricultural land into commercial land such as housing, industrial areas, business and trade centers. This research try to elaborate from farming in Banten-Indonesia. Jawara Farm is one of ugriculture business model in Banten who drived by young peaople of Banten. This model business very interesting for alternative in regeneration and business model in farming especially in Banten. Using qualitative methods and Collaborative governance approach, this research looking forward the model of young farmers in Banten as a model in collaborative governance. This research found a several challenges about collaboration model between the young farmers, government and private sector.
This paper aims to examine the issue of the political existence of women cadres in the organizations of political parties. The issue of women's involvement is a crucial issue because of the perpetual shackles of patriarchal culture and the stigmatization of the existence of women. This often leads to unfair practices and the exclusion of women. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive method formulated by Lambert et al with a focus on literature review. The results of this study indicate that the importance of redefining the meaning of political parties that are accommodative to women’s issues (feminism) and the political existence of women from the past until now is considered progressively transformative because it has been proven to mobilize collective awareness actions about the importance of playing a role in efforts to realize gender justice.
This paper will focus on the issue of political behavior of the National Awakening party (PKB) and the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) which are the two major Islamic parties in Indonesia. In the practice of managing relations with voters, it appears that the two Islamic parties often use religious attributes as a tool to influence voters to vote for those parties. The use of identity politics is allegedly a practical way to obtain maximum votes and legislative or executive positions. In this study the authors used the method of Explanatory cases with a Qualitative approach. Explanatory case study methods is used to explain more deeply the research questions that focus on PKB and PKS. The author's hypothesis is Political Islam represented by these two parties turns out to have to encourage compromise and pragmatic steps. Discourse on identity politics often used as a shield to advocate for their short-term political achievements. In turn, the struggle for Politic of Islamic identity may lead to all significant changes in internal party mechanisms and reinterpretation of party values in a more moderate direction and accommodating to their political environment.
