Class management is a benchmark in the achievement of learning objectives effectively and efficiently in the education process, the achievement of educational goals in the broadest sense is if the class management has been properly implemented by class management in the school itself. Class management is an effort to manage students in the classroom that is done to create and maintain the atmosphere or class conditions that support the teaching program by creating a pleasant atmosphere and maintaining the motivation of students to always be involved, participate in the education process at school. Thus the urgency of class management in achieving learning objectives are (1) managerial activities that include the creation and maintenance of conditions can support the optimal implementation of learning so that it is effective and efficient in supporting the achievement of learning objectives. (2) The role of the teacher in class management requires the organization of classes, seating arrangements, arrangement of learning tools, maintenance of the beauty of the classroom, maintenance of class hygiene, and others. (3) Raising the pattern of teacher behavior in classroom management as an effort to improve the quality of education includes the quality of learning based on the abilities of teachers and the condition of students, the ability of teacher to master the curriculum and the ability of teacher to choose learning methods.
The purpose of this study was to determine the history of learning with a contextual approach. This research is in the form of a Library Study (Library Research) as an effort to collect information and data by utilizing written sources in the library such as books, newspapers, magazines, documents that are relevant to the issues discussed. The results of the study, through learning history teachers can develop students' understanding of the past by learning that can connect between historical material with real situations around students, so students can describe past events as they are in history lessons. The innovation is known as contextual learning that has principles, principles in its application by linking the material learned with the real life of daily students, both within the family, school, community and citizens, with the aim to find meaning the material for his life.From the results of this study, it can be concluded that contextual learning can help students learn past history with real situations around them. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah penerapan latihan loncat katak dapat meningkatkan hasil lompat jauh gaya jongkok Siswa Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen semu dengan rancangan berbentuk One Group Pretes - Postes. Populasi dan sampel dalam penelitian ini seluruh siswa kelas V Sekolah Dasar yang berjumlah 36 siswa. Tehnik pengumpulan data menggunakan tehnik tes berbentuk hasil lompat jauh gaya jongkok. Data hasil tes siswa dianalisisi dengan menggunakan uji non parametrik. Berdasarkan hasil analisis yang diperoleh nilai rata-rata hasil lompat jauh gaya jongkok pada pre-tes sebesar 2,220 meningkat pada pos-tes menjadi 2,714. Kemudian diperhitungkan dibuktikan bahwa 0,00 lebih kecil dengan demikian disimpulkan bahwa penerapan latihan loncat katak terhadap peningkatan hasil lompat jauh gaya jongkok siswa kelas V Sekolah Dasar mendapatkan hasil yang maksimal
This research aims to improve the application of Drill method in enhancing the writing ability of Ulu Script student of Bahasa Indonesia language and literature Education Program STKIP-PGRI Lubuklinggau. The method used in this research is a quantitative descriptive method with the research type of pseudo experiments (quasi experiment). The population in this study is all students of the third semester of the Indonesian Language and Literature Education study Program A and B class of 53 with the sampling is class B that amounted to 26 people. Data collection using an essai-shaped test. The data analysis technique uses t-test. From the results of the study obtained the average value of students after using the Drill method (84.92) is greater than before using the Drill (59.85) method and increased by 25,07. The hypothesis test results showed that at a rate of significance 5% value thit > ttab, 11,61 > 2.78 and 11.61 > 2.06. Conclusion, this means that the application of Drill method can significantly improve the writing ability of the students of Ulu Script Keywords: Drill Methode, Writing, Ulu Script
AbstrakAksara Ulu merupakan aksara yang digunakan oleh masyarakat daerah pesisir Sumatera yaitu etnis Pasemah, Serawai, Rejang, dan Lembak yang zaman dahulu difungsikan sebagai media dalam penyampaian nilai-nilai kearifan lokal, menceritakan suatu kisah, mencatat hukum adat, menulis sajak atau syair, menyampaikan ajaran agama, pengobatan, ataupun petuah. Pengaruh budaya asing di era globalisasi saat ini, dapat menyebabkan adanya perubahan kebudayaan sehingga terjadinya degradasi budaya lokal seperti Aksara Ulu yang keberadaannya semakin hilang eksistensinya terutama di beberapa daerah salah satunya Kota Lubuklinggau. Aksara Ulu tidak begitu familier di kalangan masyarakat terlebih lagi para pelajar sebagai generasi muda yang seharusnya aksara tersebut perlu dilestarikan dan dikembangkan dengan melalui berbagai upaya seperti melalui sosialisasi dan pembelajaran baik lingkungan formal maupun informal dalam kehidupan masyarakat sehingga aksara tersebut keberadaannya akan terus bertahan karena masyarakat pendukungnya tetap konsisten dalam memfungsikan aksara ulu sebagai identitas lokal yang harus dilestarikan. The influence of foreign culture in the current era of globalization does not rule out the possibility of local cultural degradation such as Ulu alphabet whose existence is almost vanished, especially in some areas, one of which is in Lubuklinggau. Ulu alphabet is not very common for the public, especially for the students as the young generation who should have preserved the alphabet and developed it through various efforts such as the introduction of reading and writing Ulu alphabet both in formal and informal environments in people's lives so that they remain exist and not eroded by the current development of the world.
