Reverse Engineering (RE) and Rapid Prototyping (RP) were used for manufacturing cream bottle. Points cloud data of cream bottle was accessed by handheld laser scanner firstly. Then, points cloud data was handed by Imageware software and the three-dimensional model was formed by Solidworks software. Finally, the entity model was manufacturing by RP machine. In the research, rapid prototyping was combined with reverse engineering technology, manufacturing cycle was shorten, production requirements, improve efficiency and other advantages were met.
Rapid Prototyping (RP) technology makes it possible for manufactories or Institutes conceiving the product directly from its CAD models without any tooling or human interference. This study explored the modeling process of toy aircraft based on Pro/Engineering through a component drawing, introduced the basic setups of Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) process by using a rapid prototyping machine. Summarized the advantages and shortages of FDM,point out that the method using CAD&RP technology may be useful in designing a new product , it promising development in making of complex component or mould, and the need of colorful materials used in RP.
The electrode is one of the most important components of tubular direct methanol fuel cells (DMFC), and the coating process directly determines its performance. In the present research, a tubular electrode coating device was designed based on planetary gear structures, and the influence of the coating process parameters on the electrode structure’s performance was studied. The experimental results show that: the coating layer on the electrode surface prepared by the self-made device is uniform and dense, and the coating surface quality is better than a manual coating. The best coating environment temperature is 30–40 °C, and the coating spindle speed is 6.67 r/min. Under the condition in which Nafion 117 is used as the proton exchange membrane, the fuel cell is placed in 1 mol/L H2SO4 + 0.5 mol/L CH3OH electrolyte, and high-purity oxygen is fed at a rate of 100 mL/min, the power density of the electrode coated by the self-made device can reach 20.50 mW/cm2, which is about 2.4 times that of the electrode coated manually.
By studying the performance of carbon anode oxidation protective coating, which main component is alumina, adjusted coating formulations, determined the optimum coating formulation under certain conditions. Heating texting method was adopted to test sample performance, study showed that the new oxidation protective coating on the surface of the carbon anode can be uniform and dense.

A new type of hydrogen fuel battery –Lithium-ion battery hybrid power system was introduced; The current hydrogen fuel cell vehicles power system and automotive hydrogen storage system at home and abroad are summarized. Energy efficiency factors as well as means to improve energy efficiency of fuel cell hybrid system were discussed.
