The purpose of this research is to create a geographic information system Bengkulu city flood-prone areas using ArcView. Apply the knowledge obtained during the lecture, especially relating to the development of Geographic Information Systems. To be able to produce a system that is accurate and useful information for the community. Where the research was conducted in the city of Bengkulu BASARNAS. Bengkulu BASARNAS office specializing in Search and Rescue (SAR), is the body that manage the flood of data that is still done manually, using Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel. Thus experiencing problems in delivering information directly to the office because the SAR agencies require a long time.Keywords: Geographic Information System, Flood Prone Area
The development of information and communication technology devices makes the teaching and learning process easier and more fun, students are now not only able to learn from books but can also learn from various other media such as games. The use of games in the teaching and learning process will make it easier for students to understand concepts in learning. By applying games in the teaching and learning process, it can increase students' motivation and interest in learning. The purpose of this research is to build a game that is fun and can help students in learning.In this game, Sugeno fuzzy logic is applied which serves to determine the rewards / bonuses that players will get when completing the challenges of each level.
Peranan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi merupakan unsur terpenting dalam aktivitas manusia. Terbukti dalam berbagai sektor kehidupan, teknologi informasi telah memberikan perubahan yang sangat besar dan memberikan kontribusi fasilitas utama dalam perubahan sektor kehidupan manusia dan dalam mengubah pola pikir manusia. Hal ini juga terjadi dalam dunia pendidikan dan menjadi tantangan tersendiri mengingat revolusi sistem pembelajaran ini akan berdampak pada peserta didik. Dari hasil observasi diperoleh informasi bahwa dalam menghadapi revolusi 4.0 perlu adanya kesiapan generasi milenial dalam menghadapi perubahan tersebut. Mengingat pentingnya kesiapan generasi milenial khususnya siswa SMK N 02 Bengkulu Tengah dalam menghadapi revolusi industri 4.0, maka perlu diberikan pengetahuan dan pemahaman kepada siswa SMK N 02 Bengkulu Tengah tentang perkembangan teknologi di era revolusi industri. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan pemahaman mengenai perkembangan teknologi informasi di era revolusi 4.0 saat ini. Kegiatan dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode ceramah berupa kegiatan penyuluhan. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi bahwa kegiatan pengabdian ini memberikan pengetahuan baru bagi peserta dalam memahami perkembangan teknologi informasi di era revolusi industri.
This study aims to build an internet-based Wireless LAN (WLAN) at the Rawa Makmur Permai Urban Village Office, implement bandwidth and firewall management as a security system on the WLAN network, and observe the use of internet-based WLAN networks at the Rawa Makmur Permai Urban Village Office.This study uses the Development Life Cyle (NDLC) method which is a method that can be used in the network development process that allows network monitoring to determine network statistics and performance. The results of the performance analysis will later be taken into consideration in the design of network designs, both physical network designs or logical networks. The results of this study indicate that a WLAN network using a MikroTik router and implementing bandwidth management, firewalls and captive portals can optimize network usage, because by implementing bandwidth management it can distribute bandwidth evenly to clients according to their network access needs, the firewall itself can be used as a site access filtering system which in this study the author can apply to block the youtube.com site and make it a captive portal access.
In communication technology, voice communication is something that will be a very important part, because currently voice communication is considered the most practical communication. Bhayangkara Bengkulu Hospital is one of the Government Hospitals engaged in the health sector in Bengkulu Province. So far in communicating, Bhayangkara Bengkulu Hospital is still simple and communication media is still limited. Communication media between officers still uses HT and HP, because only a few rooms use telephones. The purpose of this research is to build a VoIP network at Bhayangkara Bengkulu Hospital so that it can facilitate communication at Bhayangkara Bengkulu Hospital. VoIP implementation at Bhayangkara Bengkulu Hospital is made using Mikrotik RB951 and Trixbox which is placed on a computer that will be used as a server. The Zoiper application is installed on each computer in each treatment room and other agencies. The functionality of this VoIP network makes it easier and can help the Bhayangkara Bengkulu Hospital in communicating. This system has been tested and the results are satisfactory as desired, although there are still obstacles in the practice of using it
