Toxic positivity is indicated by encouraging words spoken in difficult situations that force someone to feel good about themselves. It becomes a current issue around the Generation Z because of the realization that toxic positivity could have a negative impact on mental health and individual social relationships. This study aims to analyze the views of Generation Z on the phenomena of toxic positivity. The approach of this study was quantitative using descriptive methods.
This study aims to analyze the Psychological Well-Being among prospective counselors from the Faith-Based Educational Institution during the COVID-19 pandemic. The approach of this study was quantitative with a descriptive method. The Psychological Well-Being among prospective counselors is at a high classification level, namely 84%. The components of Psychological Well-Being that are above the total average score are Positive Relationship with Other People and components of Self-Growth.
Permasalahan individu yang semakin kompleks di masa kini dapat berpengaruh bagi menurunnya kualitas kesehatan mental. Individu yang tidak mampu menangani masalahnya akan merasa tertekan dalam ketidakberdayaannya. Hal ini apabila terus?menerus terjadi dapat menghalangi individu untuk mengaktualisasikan dirinya dalam keseharian. Bantuan profesional dari seorang konselor diperlukan agar individu dapat memperoleh bantuan profesional dalam menghadapi masalahnya. Berbagai teknik ekspresif dalam konseling seperti penggunaan terapi tari dan gerak (Dance and Movement Therapy) dapat mendukung berjalannya konseling agar semakin terapeutik. Penulisan artikel ini bertujuan mengkaji pengetahuan dasar mengenai terapi tari dan gerak (Dance and Movement Therapy) yang bermanfaat bagi pertumbuhan pribadi dan proses konseling. Kajian literatur yang digunakan menggunakan beberapa database seperti Google Scholar dan Google Books serta sumber lain yang mendukung. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa manfaat Dance and Movement Therapy baik bagi fisik maupun mental individu serta dapat mendukung proses konseling agar berjalan secara terapeutik.
