Purpose:The study aims at the determining gender differences of basketball players aged 12-13 years in response to an object in motion that determines the predominance of excitation and inhibition processes. Material:The participants of the study are 58 basketball players aged 12-13 years, 35 are male basketball players and 23 are female. Male basketball players had 4-5-year training experience, female had 1,5-2-year experience. All athletes had normal visual acuity and were healthy at the time of the study. Young basketball players were informed about the purpose of the study. The computer program containing visual stimuli, moving with acceleration from different points of the monitor was used for testing. Results:The deviations from the target data as well the pole were taken into consideration. It demonstrated the predominance of excitation and inhibition processes of basketball players of different sexes. The response accuracy to visual stimuli without taking into account the pole during perception with the left eye and the right eye is shown. Conclusions:It was found out that the females' response accuracy during monocular perception is more closely related to the response accuracy during binocular imaging, whereas the role of the males' leading eye is increased during perception of objects from a convenient side. This may indicate the peculiar reactions under the conditions of double perception of objects in solving complex spatial problems.
Purpose:fulfillment of retrospective analysis of junior female handball players' tactic priorities. Material:in the research junior female handball players of 15-16 yrs age (n=60) participated. The researches were conducted in 2006, 2010 and 2016 on the base of sport schools and physical culture colleges of Ukraine. We used author's programs «Balltest» and «Handball skills». Results:indicators of junior female handball players' abilities and tactical thinking effectiveness in different periods of the research were received. Correlations of these indicators with physical potentials and throw fitness point at tactical priorities of the players. Comparative characteristic showed that junior female handball players of 2016 year of the research had better abilities for solution of complex team tasks with low sensor indicators. We found handball players' preferences to defensive and attacking actions in central zone of site. Conclusions:by universal character of tactic priorities junior female handball players of 2016 year of the research yield to the players of 2006 and 2010 years of the research. Junior female handball players of 2016 year of the research prevail in successful mental solution of position defense tactic tasks, especially in readiness to act as supporters.
Introduction. The high speed and accuracy of the visual-motor reaction are the basis for the formation of the precision of volleyball players' movements. However, the visual-motor reaction of young volleyball players and its effect on the accuracy of an attack strike has not been studied.Purpose.Establishing features of the visual-motor reaction of young volleyball players with the direction of the periphery of the vision during the visual perception of moving objects and their influence on the accuracy of the attacking blow, taking into account motor asymmetry. Methods and material. 66 femaile volleyball players (7-16 years old) were examined. Technical preparedness of 22 femaile volleyball players (14-16 years old) were researched. A computer-based visual-response program and an impact test were used.Results.The dependence of the motor action on the accuracy of the reaction to the object moving is shown. At binocular perception,7-9-year-old volleyball players are dominated by the processes of excitation both in the general hit and in the reaction to the irritants presented fromthe left and fromthe rightsides. Volleyball players 13-16 years demonstrated the balance of nerve processes.Inhibition processes prevailed for athletes 10–12 years old. Proximity to balance of nervous processes was observed for 13–16 year olds when perceived with the left eye. The results of the study showed the correlation of the accuracy of the reaction with the accuracy of the attacking blow in the binocular and monocular perception of moving objects.Originality.Data on sensorimotor reactions in volleyball have been expanded. Taking into account the versatile perception of moving objects.Conclusions.Sensory prerequisites for the formation of the accuracy of an attack hit of young volleyball players are considered. The accuracy of the attacking blow by the right (dominant) hand depends on the accuracy of the reaction to the object moving from above-below with binocular perception. The connection of the accuracy of the reaction to a moving object from above with the accuracy of the attacking blow to the left area of the volleyball court increases significantly with the perception of the left eye. The accuracy of the reaction to the moving object from the right-left is less significant for the accuracy of the attacking blow by the right (the dominant) hand compared with the reaction to the object moving from above-below.Keywords.reaction to a moving object, periphery ofvisual perception, motor accuracy, motor asymmetry, excitation and inhibition of the nervous system.
Purpose The functional asymmetry is considered to be the basis of psycho physiological individual features of young basketball players. It indicates the dominant hemisphere while processing information concerning the precision in body movement in basketball playing technique. The research concerning the cerebral hemispheres asymmetry influence on the movement technique formation of young basketball players is still highly inconsistent. Therefore, the study aims at the determining technical readiness peculiarities of basketball players aged 12-13 with different cerebral asymmetry profiles while performing exercises with dominant and sub-dominant hands. Material 35 basketball players aged 12-13 have been tested in order to determine the type of cerebral asymmetry and technical readiness. To determine the cerebral asymmetry, the computer modified test of Stroop was used. In order to define technical readiness, three exercises which are performed using the right and left hand have been developed. Results Half of the group of basketball players aged 12-13 do not have a clear lateralization of the hemispheres: 51% of participants have symmetry of the hemispheres, 28% - the functional activity of the right hemisphere, and 20% - the left hemisphere activity. The study showed that shots of basketball players with the left cerebral lateralization are more accurate when performed with dominant hand. They prevail in the speed and accuracy parameters of passing and dribbling with both hands as well. Conclusions The many-sided nature of the interhemispheric asymmetry of basketball players aged 12-13 was determined. Its influence on technical readiness was found out. The highest level of technical readiness has been found among basketball players with the left hemisphere dominance. The lowest level of technical readiness was recorded among basketball players with the right hemisphere dominance. It was specified, that at the age of 12-13, the bimanual character of movements of young basketball players with left hemisphere dominance is being formed more actively.
