This article analyses research productivity and international collaboration of top Indonesian universities. The data were collected from Scopus with regard to number of documents, authors, affiliation and country partners in research. The top ten Indonesian universities were then chosen for analysis. The results suggest that top universities in Indonesia published articles in peerreviewed journals earlier too, but showed slow progress before 2000. After 2010 the number of documents increased significantly, especially among the three largest Indonesian universities, i.e.
Dzis article is aimed to oversee the development of Islamic banking in Indonesia mainly on its ínancial performance. Dze ínancial performance of the Islamic banking is observed in accordance to its blue print in order to evaluate its development and contribution to country development as part its main mission. To some extent, emperical índings suggest that the banking has so far shown its relatively high percieved performance in its ínancial duty mainly in contributing to ínancial intermediacies function of banking and to small and medium enterprises development in Indonesia. Nevertheles, some notes should be adressed to banking preference in supporting economic activities of people majority, such as in agriculture and other primary sectors and in implementing its proít and sharing principles in its activities.Kata kunci: perbankan syariah, kinerja keuangan, pembangunan nasional

This data article presents an important bibliometric dataset of ten Indonesian leading educational universities. These ten Indonesian leading educational universities are Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI), Universitas Negeri Malang (UM), Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES), Universitas Negeri Surabaya (Unesa), Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY), Universitas Negeri Makassar (UNM), Universitas Negeri Jakarta (UNJ), Universitas Negeri Padang (UNP), Universitas Negeri Medan (Unimed), and Universitas Negeri Gorontalo (UNG). Using Scopus database search analysis, this data article collects data on documents per year, subject area of documents, source title of documents, documents type, country/territory, author name and number of documents, affiliation and most cited documents for each universities.
