Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kendala- kendala apa saja yang dialami oleh orang tua selama mendampingi anak belajar dirumah pada masa pandemi Covid-19. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah studi kasus melalui wawancara dengan analisis tematik pada 12 orang tua dengan anak yang sedang bersekolah di taman kanak-kanak. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa secara umum kendala- kendala orang tua dalam mendampingi anak belajar di rumah pada masa pandemi Covid- 19 adalah kurangnya pemahaman materi oleh orang tua, kesulitan orang tua dalam menumbuhkan minat belajar anak, tidak memiliki cukup waktu untuk mendampingi anak karena harus bekerja, orang tua tidak sabar dalam mendampingi anak saat belajar dirumah, kesulitan orang tua dalam mengoperasikan gadget, dan kendala terkait jangkauan layanan internet. Penelitian ini diharapkan mampu menggali kendala- kendala orang tua dalam mendampingi anak ketika belajar dirumah sehingga penelitian ini mampu berkontribusi terhadap penelitian selanjutnya dalam menggali solusi untuk masalah- masalah tersebut
Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran video animasi yang layak dan efektif pada materi pahlawan pergerakan nasional untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar dan karakter tanggung jawab siswa kelas V Sekolah Dasar Gugus 02 Kecamatan Srandakan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah 27 siswa kelas V SD Proketen sebagai kelas kontrol, 33 siswa SD 1 Godegan sebagai kelas eksperimen dan 15 siswa SD Talkondo sebagai kelas uji coba. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif dan analisis perbedaan melalui uji Anova. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media video animasi layak digunakan untuk pembelajaran pada materi pahlawan pergerakan nasional kelas V SD Gugus 02 Kecamatan Srandakan. Kelayakan media video animasi oleh ahli materi mendapat penilaian dengan kategori “Baik”, dan oleh ahli media mendapat penilaian “Sangat Baik”. Hasil uji kelayakan media video animasi oleh guru pada uji coba lapangan operasional pada kategori “Baik”. Hasil uji t pada motivasi belajar antara kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol menunjukkan nilai t=2,513 pada taraf signifikansi p= 0,015, (p0,05) dan karakter tanggung jawab antara kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol menunjukkan nilai t= 3,810 pada taraf signifikansi p= 0,000 (p0,05). Jadi, pembelajaran dengan menggunakan media video animasi efektif untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar dan karakter tanggung jawab siswa. DEVELOPING ANIMATED VIDEO MEDIA TO IMPROVE THE LEARNING MOTIVATION AND RESPONSSIBILITY CHARACTER OF THE FIFTH GRADE Abstract: This study aims to develop feasible and effective animated learning media on the material of national hero movement to improve the learning motivation and responssibility character of the students of Cluster 02 elementary schools in Srandakan. This study was research and development (R D). The subjects were 27 fifth grade students of SD Proketen as the control class, 33 students of SD 1 Godegan as the experimental class and 15 students of SD Talkondo as the trial class. The data were analyzed using the descriptive quantitative analysis and t test analysis of differences through Anova. The results show that the animated video media is feasible for teaching the national movement hero learning material to the fifth grade students of Cluster 02 elementary schools in Srandakan District. The results of the feasibility of the animated video media by subject matter experts gain "Good"category, and by media experts gain "Very Good" category. The result of the feasibility testing of the animated video media by teachers in the operational field test gain "Good" category. The result of the t test on the learning motivation between the experimental group and control group shows that the t value= 2.513 at the significance level of p= 0.015 (p0.05) and the character of responssibility between the experimental group and control group shows that the t value = 3.810 at the significance level of p = 0.000 (p0.05). So, teaching by using media is effective to improve the learning motivation and responssibility character of students.Keywords: animated video media, learning motivation, responssibility character.
The objectives of this research were to analyzed the disaster education integration strategy in primary school in disaster-prone area III of Sleman Regency, and to analyzed the implications of disaster education in the community resilience to faced the eruption of Mount Merapi. The research was conducted with using qualitative research with primary data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. The results showed that primary schools of disaster alert schools in disaster-prone areas III of Sleman District had undertaken various strategies in the integration of disaster education. Disaster education integration strategies include (1). Disaster education integration strategy using newspapers as instructional media, (2). Disaster education integration strategy with real object media by bringing students to the object directly, (3). Disaster education integration strategyby using the media images and student worksheet random word volcano eruption of Mount Merapi. Disaster education integration strategies implemented could improve students' disaster knowledge and skills in coping with disasters to be transferred to families, thereby maximizing the community resilience in the face of disasters.
Abstract. The difference of student's learning achievement is influenced by multiple factors such as school readiness and intelligence. This research aims to examine of school readiness and intelligence predict on learning achievement. The data were collected by employing intelligence test and student's academic report. The subjects of this research was 104 students (52 male and 52 female students aged 7-8) of grade 1 of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 1 Bantul, Yogyakarta, academic year 2016/2017. The collected data were then analysed by linear regression statistics. The results show school readiness and intelligence predict learning achievement.Keywords: gender, intelligence, learning achievement, school readiness Abstrak. Perbedaan prestasi belajar pada siswa dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor diantaranya kesiapan sekolah dan inteligensi. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji prediksi kesiapan belajar di sekolah formal dan inteligensi terhadap prestasi belajar. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan tes dan dokumentasi nilai hasil belajar siswa. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas 1 SD MIN Bantul Yogyakarta Tahun Akademik 2016/2017 yang berjumlah 104 orang (52 orang siswa perempuan dan 52 orang siswa laki-laki) dengan usia 7-8 tahun. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan statistik analisis regresi linear. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kesiapan belajar dan inteligensi dapat memprediksi prestasi belajar.
A conducive school climate is one of the conditions that students must have to display positive academic performance. However, juvenile delinquency often results in student perception of a negative school climate. The study reported in this paper investigated the effect of student perception of a negative school climate on their academic performance in Indonesia. This is ex-post facto research in which the effect of student perception and examined retrospectively to establish causes, relationships, associations, and or their meanings. Data was collected using the perception of negative school climate scale (PNSCS) and academic performance scale (APS). The population of this study was 9,687,676 high-school students in Indonesia. The study used cluster sampling in which about 1,263 students were sampled. During the sampling of the participants for this study, the division of region's namely Western Indonesia (East Java), Central Indonesia (West Nusa Tenggara), and Eastern Indonesia (North Maluku) were taken into account. Data were analyzed using simple linear regression. The results of the study showed that student perception of a negative school climate had an effect of 58.7% on their poor academic performance. The study recommended that schools in Indonesia should create a positive school climate to create optimal student development by creating a strong commitment to peaceful thinking for all school members.
