The attitude of students during the learning process is essential to be known by an educator to understand how to deal with students in the class. This study aims to determine how students 'attitudes towards science subjects and this study also aim to determine whether there is a comparison of students' attitudes towards natural science subjects in junior high schools in Indonesia. This research was conducted at some state junior high schools in Jambi. Specifically, the research sites were Junior High School 5, Junior High School 6, and Junior High School 26 in Jambi. The research design used in this study was a quantitative approach with survey methods. The research instrument was a science attitude questionnaire. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. The results showed that students' attitudes toward science subjects based on indicators of adoption of scientific attitudes, fun in learning science, and interest in increasing the time to study science were in good categories and also there are significant differences of students’ attitude towards science subjects in the three schools with a comparison value of 0.042 < 0.05.
Indonesia merupakan negara yang menempati urutan kedua didunia dalam penggunaan gadget. Semakin meningkatnya jumlah pengguna gadget di era modern ini, banyak menyebabkan efek negatif bagi manusia, dimana salah satunya yakni menurunnya pola komunikasi efektif antara anak remaja dengan orang tua. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui hubungan antara penggunaan gadget terhadap pola komunikasi dengan keluarga pada siswa-siswi kelas x di SMK Yabhinka Kota Cilegon. Desain penelitian cross sectional, penelitian dilakukan pada bulan juni 2018, dan responden 77 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa dari 45 responden dengan penggunaan gadget sering terdapat 44 orang (97,8%) yang pola komunikasi dengan keluarganya kurang baik dan 1 (2,2%) yang pola komunikasi dengan keluarganya baik. 32 responden dengan penggunaan gadget kadang-kadang terdapat 5 orang (15,6%) yang pola komunikasi dengan keluarganya kurang baik dan 27 orang (84,4%) yang pola komunikasi dengan keluarganya baik. Berdasarkan hasil uji chi square menunjukan bahwa nilai p = 0,000 (< 0,05) dan nilai OR (Odss Ratio) 237. Kesimpulannya adanya hubungan antara penggunaan gadget terhadap pola komunikasi dengan keluarga karena ditemukan banyaknya responden yang menyalahgunakan gadget, yakni kecanduan gadget (bermain game disaat jam pelajaran berlangsung), mempunyai jiwa individual, minimnya komunikasi yang efektif, dan interaksi yang serba membutuhkan gadget sebagai medianya
The background of the research was the use of educative game which used as instructional media based on android was rarely use even though 21st century instructional, instructional model and instructional media did not have limitation and done by helping of technology information and communication. This research aims to produce educative game "Word Find" for instructional media based on android which is valid, practical, effective, interesting and fun on social science course. This kind of research was research and development (R&D). 4-D model was used as development model. The research did in SDN 54 Payakumbuh. The subject of research was grade six students. Validity test data was gotten through media validation sheets by media, material and language expert. Practicality data was gotten through assessment sheet; teacher, students and the parents respond questionnaire. The effectiveness was seen from students learning result. The data was analyzed based on research result. the results of this study are produced educational games that are valid, practical and effective.
