Individual coping includes psychological and life adjustments, altruistic actions, team support, and rational cognition. Health workers need coping strategies as a way to control themselves against stressors. Coping strategies can help health workers in reducing anxiety and psychological impact. The purpose of this study was to describe psychological problems and coping strategies for health workers in treating COVID-19 patients. The research method used a descriptive qualitative design with a total of eight participants living in Tangerang City and its surroundings through purposive sampling. Data analysis used thematic analysis. The results of the study produced four themes, namely: (1) anxiety, (2) growth under pressure, (3) emotional-focused coping (4) efforts to reduce the risk of infection. Conclusions: The need for interventions and approaches that will support health workers' feelings include concern about health personnel, fear of carrying infection and transmitting it to family members or others, isolation, feelings of uncertainty, social stigmatization, and feeling insecure when providing care and health services to COVID-19 patients.
ABSTRAKKesehatan jiwa merupakan kondisi dimana seseorang dapat berkembang secara fisik, mental, spiritual serta sosial, serta mampu memberikan kontribusi bagi masyarakatnya. Individu tidak dapat bebas dari stres. Apabila stres tidak dikelola dengan baik dapat berlanjut menjadi ansietas dan masalah kesehatan jiwa lainnya. Data Riskesdas 2018 menunjukkan terjadi peningkatan jumlah penderita psikosis dari 1,7% menjadi 7% per mil, sedangkan penderita gangguan mental emosional meningkat dari 6 menjadi 9% per mil. Jumlah penderita depresi di provinsi Banten mencapai 8.7%. Tingginya jumlah penderita gangguan jiwa dari waktu ke waktu membutuhkan tindakan promosi dan pencegahan gangguan jiwa. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan agar warga masyarakat mampu mengenali tanda dan gejala stres dan ansietas serta dapat melakukan cara pengelolaannya. Kegiatan ini dilakukan melalui penyuluhan dan demonstrasi cara mengelola stres dan ansietas berupa teknik relaksasi napas dalam dan afirmasi positif, yang dihadiri 50 warga yang dihadiri oleh kader dan pengurus RT dan Kepala RW kp Gandu RT/RW 02/04 Desa Sindang Jaya kecamatan Sindang Jaya selaku mitra. Hasil kegiatan diukur dengan membandingkan nila pre-test dan post-test pengetahuan pasien sebelum dan sesudah dilakukan pemberian materi. Hasilnya, terdapat peningkatan pengetahuan warga sebelum dilakukan penyuluhan dengan persentase sebesar 60% dan setelah dilakukan penyuluhan persentase sebesar 100%. terkait kesehatan jiwa, tanda gejala stres dan ansietas. Warga juga mampu melakukan tindakan yang diajarkan untuk mengelola stres dan ansietas. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat dilaksanakan secara berkelanjutan dengan bantuan para kader masyarakat. If stress is not managed properly it can lead to anxiety and other mental health problems. The results of the activity were measured by comparing the pre-test and post-test values of the patient's knowledge before and after giving the material. Pendahuluan: Halusinasi atau gangguan jiwa mengakibatkan penderita stres dan keluarga yang merawat penderita halusinasi merasa terbebani, baik beban subyektif (kecemasan, kesedihan, kekecewaan, rasa bersalah, jenuh), maupun beban objektif (beban keuangan dalam pengobatan atau perawatan, tempat tinggal, makanan, maupun transportasi). Kemampuan keluarga merawat yang baik dapat menciptakan kondisi lingkungan yang kondusif dan suportif, mampu menghargai pasien secara pribadi dan membantu pemecahan masalah yang dialami pasien halusinasi. Tujuan: mengetahui hubungan antara beban keluarga dengan kemampuan keluarga dalam merawat anggota keluarga pasien halusinasi di Puskesmas Kunciran. Metode: desain penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif korelasi menggunakan Total sampling dengan sampel 42 responden, menggunakan analisa Uji Chi Square. Hasil: Dari 42 responden didapatkan beban keluarga yang bernilai sedang terdapat 27 responden (64,3%), dan kemampuan merawat yang bernilai kurang terdapat 30 responden (71,4%). Berdasarkan Uji Chi-Square diperoleh hasil p-value= (0,202>0,05) yang berarti tidak terdapat hubungan antara beban keluarga dengan kemampuan merawat pasien halusinasi di Puskesmas Kunciran. Kesimpulan: Faktor-Faktor yang menyebabkan tidak terdapat adanya hubungan antara beban keluarga dengan kemampuan keluarga dalam merawat pasien halusinasi yaitu dukungan sosial, strategi koping, kualitas hidup, status kesehatan, tingkat pengetahuan, pelayanan kesehatan. Diharapkan keluarga selalu memperhatikan dan mendukung dalam upaya merawat anggota keluarga dengan pasien halusinasi.
In hypertensive patients who experience anxiety, their blood pressure will increase which causes them to be more susceptible to complications of hypertension, so it is important to pay attention to mental health conditions in hypertensive patients. Purpose: to determine the effectiveness of Spirizomacare on anxiety levels in patients with hypertension and as a preliminary study for a form of activity that can reduce anxiety levels in patients with hypertension. Methods: This research design uses pre-experimental research with one group pretest-posttest research design, 2 times. The research location is the Grogol Health Center. The study was conducted in June-September 2022. The method of selecting the research sample was using a purposive sampling method using 30 respondents. Techniques of data analysis using univariate and bivariate analysis with paired T-test. The results showed that there was an effect of spirizomacare therapy on the level of anxiety in hypertensive patients, with a p-value of 0.000 < 0.05. Conclusion: The spiritual remembrance approach is carried out with the concept of changing the anxiety caused by the fear of death. In this study, it was found that there was a decrease in the level of anxiety in hypertensive patients at the Grogol Health Center. Suggestion: For nursing management as a reference to overcome anxiety levels in hypertensive patients and provide health education to all patients about controlling anxiety. So it is hoped that there will be no severe anxiety in patients with hypertension.
