This study aims to determine the quality of the translation of the heritage book by teachers in Islamic boarding schools. The heritage book is one of the classic books that contain Islamic religious lessons taught at Islamic boarding schools, ranging from Fiqh, aqidah, and morals to Arabic grammar. This study used a qualitative descriptive method with a content analysis model. In the practice of translation, teachers translate the heritage book literally, word by word. The problem is whether this kind of tendency can create an accurate and appropriate translation. Thus, evaluating the quality of this translation is very important to determine the quality of the translation of the heritage book. The ability to evaluate the quality of the literal translation of the heritage book will assist teachers in improving their skills in translating it. Based on the study's results, the researchers found that the five Arabic sentences in the heritage book of Naā'iḥ Al-'Ibād translated by 20 teachers had average accuracy levels of 65.4% (acceptable), 24.5% (less acceptable), and 10.1% (unacceptable). This research is expected to be a reference for all teachers who teach at Islamic boarding schools in translating the heritage book so that it can produce quality translations.
Abstract. The effectiveness of a model can be seen from an indication of the increased quality of the process and learning outcomes. High or low student learning activities have an influence on the achievement of learning objectives that have been set. The preliminary study results showed the phenomenon of the low learning activities of class VII F students in PAI learning, especially in doing assignments and discussing in groups which of course must be solved immediately. Through the descriptive method with the CAR model, it is known that the alternative solution is to apply the teams games tournament (TGT) model. After going through two cycles of action and each cycle goes through the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and evaluation, showing the results that the application of the TGT learning model has become a trigger in increasing student learning activities in PAI learning. Students interested in getting involved in games and tournaments after previously taking steps in presenting and working with teams.Abstrak. Efektivitas suatu model terlihat dari indikasi meningkatnya kualitas proses dan hasil pembelajaran. Tinggi atau rendahnya aktivitas belajar siswa memiliki pengaruh terhadap tercapaianya tujuan pembelajaran yang telah ditetapkan. Hasil studi pendahuluan diketahui fenomena rendahnya aktivitas belajar siswa kelas VII F dalam pembelajaran PAI, terutama dalam mengerjakan tugas dan berdiskusi dalam kelompok yang tentunya harus segera dipecahkan. Melalui metode deskriptif dengan model PTK, diketahui bahwa alternatif pemecahannya adalah dengan menerapkan model teams games tournament (TGT). Setelah melalui dua tindakan siklus dan setiap siklusnya menempuh tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan evaluasi, menunjukkan hasil bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran TGT telah menjadi pemantik dalam meningkatkan aktivitas belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran PAI. Siswa mempunyai ketertarikan untuk terlibat dalam games dan tournament setelah sebelumnya menempuh langkah penyajian dan berkerja bersama tim.
Sexual intercourse is considered as a taboo which is usually mentioned in non-literal speech acts. This also applies to some of the verses of Qur'an, where sexual intercourse is cited in non-literal speech acts in kināyah stylistics, hence the absence of the impression of taboo. Kināyah presents denotative and connotative meanings, both of which are usually related. Although kināyah tries to deliver the connotative meaning to the readers, kināyah can still be understood denotatively. This is what distinguishes kināyah from majāz, where the latter can only be understood connotatively. The allowance for readers to understand kināyah both denotatively and connotatively has caused its translation becomes complicated. A descriptive-evaluative research design with an embedded case study research design is used in this research. The data are selected purposively in the form of Qur'anic verses which contain kināyah regarding sexual intercourse from Al-Quranul Karim Tarjamah Tafsiriyah by Ustaz Muhammad Thalib. These verses are elaborated by focusing on the diction used. This research finds that the kināyah regarding sexual intercourse in Qur'an tend to use various dictions, such as al-ityān 'to come to', al-qurb 'to approach', al-rafaṡ 'to seduce' and al-massu 'to touch'. In general, these verses are translated connotatively in the UMT translation. In this case, the Quran translation in question uses a lot of modulation techniques to deliver the connotative meaning in the target text.
Learning media has an important role as a learning tool and one of the components of the learning process. Scrabble is a learning media used to make learning Arabic more innovative, interactive, and fun. This study aims to explain the urgency of using Scrabble as learning media in Arabic learning. This study uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The participants in this study were students in the third semesters in Arabic education study program in Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia. Data were collected through observations and interviews. The results showed that learning media can improve students' motivation, interest, and passion in learning Arabic, improve students understanding of the materials learned, and create an innovative, interactive, and fun learning atmosphere.
Usia dini merupakan masa yang sangat penting sebagai landasan karakter bagi manusia, semua instrumen utama manusia terbentuk dari kecerdasan hingga perkembangan psikis, sehingga masa ini disebut dengan masa keemasan. Raudatul Athfal Nurul Ansor Bandung merupakan salah satu PAUD yang memiliki keunikan dalam pembelajaran, karena berbasis Pesantren. harus memiliki kekhasan dalam pembentukan karakter religius. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pendidikan anak usia dini RA, agar dapat menginspirasi institusi lain dalam pengembangan pendidikan anak usia dini. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data, yaitu: 1) teknik observasi, 2) teknik wawancara, dan 3) teknik dokumentasi. Hasil akhir dari program ini dapat dikatakan cukup berhasil walaupun belum optimal. Salah satunya karena beberapa siswa masih belum menguasai materi sesuai target yang telah ditetapkan oleh sekolah.
