An analysis of simulation trainings in the specialty of neonatology for the period 2012-2021 is presented, including an analysis of typical mistakes during the resuscitation of newborns by specialists of the obstetric service of the Khabarovsk Territory. The data obtained make it possible to improve the systematic approach to the training of medical specialists using simulation technologies and to ensure the survival of professional competencies.
Infant mortality is an important statistical indicator, and at the same time an indirect criterion of the economic, social and political component of the state. The experience of conducting simulation training "in situ" within the framework of the "Comprehensive educational program to reduce infant mortality in the Khabarovsk Territory" is presented.
