Mass spectra of positive ions emitted from polycrystalline metallic targets (Al, Mn, Co, Ta) were analyzed by the mass spectrometric method when the targets were bombarded by the analyzed Ar+ ion beam of 40-keV energy. Single- and multiple-charged atomic components, as well as single-charged molecular components, were detected. The energy distribution curves for some mass-spectra components, measured by the retarding potential method, are presented.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
