Present educational systems needs modern strategies for teaching and learning. Mathematics education has to change for students in elementary schools. One of the modern strategies, it is drama activities. The drama is as empirical aspect of learning. The student may learn from what they are doing in drama. They are so active instead having a passive shape in drama, in fact, students are learning, finding experiences and new paths from drama as well. The students could find its capabilities, recommendations and strengthweakness points through the different drama. This study is looking to investigate the role of drama so that have a better understanding of mathematical concepts in Zahedan's girly elementary students . This research is used on 36 three grade students through quasi-experiment method. The emerging results clearly showed that using drama in mathematics education has been better results against the traditional teaching. Then it seems that cited method is suitable for elementary students to learn mathematical concepts.
Modern tools as new educational systems can improve teaching-learning procedures in schools. Teaching mathematics is one of the main and difficult components in educational systems. Informing methods is essential for teachers and instructors. It seems that did not forget usual teaching method and using software or media considered as remedial teaching. Teachers always follow dynamic methods for teaching and learning. The aim of this study is that views of students studied regard to math software and its efficiency. Twenty two girl students of 2nd grade are chosen at high schools. Through standard questionnaire and survey method, views of students are collected. Data are studied via KolmogorovSmirnov and one sample sign tests. The results of tests indicated that students have positive views toward co-instructional software of math learning. Therefore it seems that mathematical software can advantages for teaching and learning at high schools.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
