Prodi pendidikan geografi universitas Prof. Dr. Hazairin, SH, era new normal (normal baru) tahun akademik 2020/2021 memilih dan melaksanakan pembelajaran blended learing berbasis SPADA. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui efektivitas implementasi pembelajaran blended learning berbasis SPADA era new normal. Metode penelitian yang dipilih adalah kuantitatif dan kualitatif dekriptif. Kuantitatif, teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner, yang dikirim secara daring kepada 80 mahasiswa aktif atau masih kontrak mata kuliah, melalui grup whatshapp mata kuliah tiga orang dosen yang mengajar semester genap 2020/2021. Data dianalisis menggunakan persentase. Kualitatif, teknik pengumpulan data wawancara dan dokumentasi, kemudian tahapan selanjutnya dengan mengkategorikan, reduksi, menyajikan dan menarik kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian efektivitas implikasi pembelajaran blended learning berbasis SPADA pada prodi geografi adalah : 100 % dosen menggunakan SPADA, 65 % mahasiswa memiliki laptop, 98,8 % mahasiswa memiliki smartphone, 85 % mahasiwa belum berlangganan Wireless Fidelity (WiFi), 42,5 % mahasiswa masih kesulitan pembelian kouta internat, 50 % mahasiswa kurang puas pembelajaran blended learning berbasis SPADA karena ada beberapa materi di SPADA waktu kuliah daring tidak dijelaskan waktu tatap muka, 88,8 % penyerapan materi pembelajaran cukup baik, 45 % mahasiswa berminat pembelajaran blended learning berbasis SPADA. Blended Learning pendidikan geografi akan lebih efektif bila semua mahasiswa memiliki laptop, memiliki jaringan WiFi, kouta internet terpenuhi, dosen memberi tambahan penjelasan dan diskusi materi di SPADA waktu kuliah tatap muka, serta dosen menyusun dan menyajikan materi pada waktu kuliah menggunakan SPADA yang menarik, singkat dan mudah dipahami mahasiswa.
Training of English Language and Mangrove Management for Youth Empowerment in Mangrove Tourism Object Development Karang taruna is a youth organization in a village. This community service program was aimed to train Karang Taruna member in Sumber Jaya Village, Kota Bengkulu speaking English which can be used to guide foreign tourists and and to educate them about mangroves and its management for ecotourism activities. The activity was carried out in three stages: 1) the preparation; 2) the planning; 3) the implementation stage. In the third stage, an evaluation was carried out through the practice of speaking English and distributing questionnaires about English language skills and knowledge about mangroves. After the service activities were carried out, the results showed that the participants: 1) 100% understood how to greet and introduce in English; 2) 90% could explain the information about interest place in English; 3) 90% could ask and answer in English; 4) 100% could explain about tourism object in English; 5) 100% could explain about the rules of travel in English; 6) 100% could answer about tourism object; 7) 100% could convey likes and dislikes; 8) 100% could hosting; 9) 90% could explain how to make organic fertilizers; 10) 90% could explain the making of handicrafts; 11) 100% understood the function, potential and types of mangrove forests; 12) 90% knew the tourism management based on mangrove conservation; 13) 90% understood maintenance and improvement of mangrove quality; 14) 100% understood management through tourism diversification; 15) 90% understood mangrove tourism infrastructure; 16) 100% understood the potential of mangroves that can be processed into souvenirs. The results of the service can be concluded that the Karang Taruna members have understood about English language technique specifically to tour guide and had an understanding of mangroves.
<p><em>This study aims to obtain data, process, analyze and discuss the Community Vulnerability in the Coastal Areas of Pariaman City in Earthquake Disaster Mitigation. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The population in this study are villages along the coast of Pariaman. Total population of 1117 households (KK). Sampling of respondents based on Proposional Random Sampling, namely 10% of the total population, so that the respondents totaled 117 people. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and interviews. Descriptive qualitative data analysis used frequency and percentage tables. The results of this study indicate the level of community vulnerability in the coastal area of Pariaman in earthquake mitigation shows a high vulnerability category. The general public must always be given outreach on a regular basis to be able to understand about knowledge before a disaster, during a disaster and after a disaster.</em></p>
This study aims to create awareness of disasters in class X students by utilizing the Mind Mapping learning model on disaster material. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative using literature study analysis. The results obtained from this study are a Mind Mapping learning model that is able to generate awareness of disaster in earthquake material in students. The developed media has never been tested on students so that it becomes a recommendation for further research.
