The Long jump is a jump event contested in athletic. To be a long jumper a few factors that must be met such as physical, technical and mental. Every sports activites both race, game, and definitly requires competition physical condition named speed. An effort to achieve the maximum distance of jumps, a jumpers is required to have the speed and power required at the time took in approach and a foothold in the started. The productof speed and strenght is explosive power. The aim of this research is to know correlation between speed running andexplosive power Of Limbs onLong Jump abilitytoward VIII Grade students SMPN 1 Southwestern Praya Central Lombok in 2019/2020. This study use a double design, the population of this study was proportional random sampling with population number is 79, and the sample is 28 chosing and proportional random sampling. The data analysis technique used was SPSS 17.0. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concludes that there is a significant Correlation between Running Speed and Explosive power of Limbs to long jump ability, provenR count (R˳) = 1,000 after significant test using the F test, the obtained Sig.Is smaller than a = 0.00 <∝ 0.05).
This study aims to examine the effect of applying imagery and progressive muscle relaxation exercises on the level of anxiety and concentration in Persatu Darek FC athletes. This study uses a quantitative approach with a quasi experimental design (matching-only design). The research sample consisted of 33 athletes who were divided into 3 groups of athletes (11 athletes in each group), each of which was given a pretest and posttest. The experimental group I was given an imagery exercise program, the experimental group II was given a progressive muscle relaxation exercise program, and the third group was a control (conventional exercise). The test instrument to measure the level of concentration is the grid concentration exercise test, while the anxiety test uses a sport anxiety scale. Data analysis in this study used a different test (t-test) and multivariate analysis of variance. The results of the study showed that there was a significant effect of giving progressive muscle relaxation and imagery exercises to the level of anxiety in soccer players. However, it has no effect on conventional exercise modes. The provision of progressive muscle relaxation and imagery exercises also affects concentration in soccer players, and this does not apply to conventional training modes. In this study, we also found that there was no difference in the effect of the concentration variables and the level of anxiety together. Therefore, it can be concluded that neither of the two methods of mental exercise (imagery and progressive muscle relaxation) has a more effective effect on concentration and anxiety levels. The recommendation from the results of this study is that mental exercise conduction (imagery and progressive muscle relaxation) is very important for soccer players as a non-physical exercise mode that is very useful for reducing anxiety and increasing concentration.
This research was a qualitative descriptive study. Types of data in this research was in the form of primary data and secondary data. Then the data collection techniques used are observation, interviews and documentation which aims to find out: 1). How positive thinking therapy can increase the self-confidence of Karate martial arts athletes at SMA 1 Praya Timur, 2). What is the process of implementation and the results of positive thinking therapy for karate martial arts at SMA 1 Praya Timur. The subjects of this study were SMA 1 Praya Timur martial arts athletes, who had been selected according to specific characteristics according to the research objectives. In accordance with the results of the discussion, the researchers showed that: 1) the self-confidence of SMA 1 Praya Timur Karate martial arts athletes, what needs to be increased is 10 athletes, 2). The process of implementing and the results of positive thinking therapy went well and the results of positive thinking therapy can be used to increase the confidence of martial arts athletes, only 1 athlete experienced less change after positive thinking therapy was carried out so that follow-up was needed for the athlete's treatment.
