This study addressed to explore classroom management and Arabic Learning process based on Multiple intelligences theory implemented by the teacher. The study was a case study with descriptive qualitative approach. The data were collected by interview, documentation, and observation. Then, the data were analyzed with the following steps: data collection, data reduction, data display, verification, and affirmation conclusions. The result of this study revealed that the students were classified based on their intelligences with interview and appropriate test of multiple intelligences done by MIR team. Therefore, Arabic teacher implemented a suitable method in the Arabic learning process for each class based on their needs. Yet, the teacher faced an obstacle when teaching the students with logical-mathematical and interpersonal intelligences. Another data indicated that classroom was not only the class for learning, sometimes the teacher challenged the students to study outdoor, school environment. The school environment and facilities contributed to support learning process and give the students more space to be creative and aware with what they found in the school environment.
This research discusses about: 1) organizing management in Arabic center DLWI Pamekasan, 2) problems in organizing management at Arabic center institute DLWI Pamekasan. This is a descriptive qualitative research. The data are collected by interviews and documentation. Then the data were analyzed in three steps, 1) data reduction, 2) data presentation, 3) drawing conclusions / verification. The results of this research shows that the organizing management Arabic language center DLWI Pamekasan arrangged the division of duties and authority of members of the organization based on structure namely linear organization. Authority is not given to just anyone but through a strict qualification system.
Currently, Arabic language learning is required to be held online. In this situation, the government has forced to announce instructions for implementing online learning since March 2020. However, these instructions have made Arabic teachers experiencing difficulties in implementing online learning. Innovative learning management is highly needed to overcome these problems. Therefore, this study aims to provide an overview of the management of Arabic language learning, especially in planning, implementing, and evaluating, organized by teachers who are members of the Arabic teachers’ forum. This study used a descriptive method by adopting data analysis techniques from Miles and Huberman. The results of this study indicate that in planning, the Arabic teachers made a lesson plan which would be held online. As for implementing the lesson plan, the teachers use synchronous and asynchronous models. They also used a combination of two models, a written test presented using Google form and Quizizz media for evaluation. On the other hand, some teachers also conducted oral tests using voice recordings through WhatsApp. This research suggests that teachers can better manage the planning, implementing, and evaluating online learning in the era of the COVID-19 pandemic following the characteristics and models of online learning.
Al-Azhar is one of the famous foreign language courses in Pare Kediri. This research is conducted because Al-Azhar Course Institute has interesting programs, and some teaching staff are native Arabs (Yemen), and use fun methods that make it easier for students to understand and Arabic quickly. This study aims to describe the planning and design of learning in Al-Azhar course institutions. This study uses qualitative research with descriptive methods. Data collection is done by observation, interview and documentation. Data is obtained from informants who are instructors at the Al-Azhar Course Institute. Data analysis in this study consists of 3 stages, namely: Data Condensation, Data Display, and Conclusion Drawing / Verification. The results obtained in this study are: First, the planning carried out by the Al-Azhar course institution is a type of project planning, and top-down planning. Second, the design of learning that is carried out is initiated by placement test, then determines the material that is in accordance with students' abilities, and finally evaluates.
Abstrak Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan manajemen perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi program munadharah ‘ilmiyah Pekan Arabi di Universitas Negeri Malang di masa pandemi. Jenis penelitian dalam penelitian ialah jenis penelitian kualitatif metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu menggunakan metode wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data, peneliti menggunakan teori Miles dan Huberman, yaitu mengumpulkan data dari hasil wawancara dan dokumentasi, reduksi data, display data, dan conclusion Drawing. Hasil penelitian dan pembahasan penelitian ini terdiri dari 1) Perencanaan, terdapat 3 hal penting yang harus dipenuhi dalam perencanaan program munadharah ‘ilmiyah. Pertama, model interactive approach. Kedua, dalam ruang lingkup program ini terdapat 3 dimensi. Ketiga, proses perencanaan program ini melalui tahapan-tahapan yang sistematis. 2) Pelaksanaan, terdapat 3 hal penting yang terdapat dalam penyusunan program Munadharah ‘ilmiyah. Pertama, tahap pemula, kedua, tahap pelaksanaan program, ketiga, tahap penilaian setelah diadakannya program munadharah ‘ilmiyah. 3) Evaluasi terdapat 2 hal penting yang harus dipenuhi dalam evaluasi program munadharah ‘ilmiyah, yaitu evaluasi monitoring dan evaluasi komprehensif.
