This study aims to look at how the learning styles of young gifted students in Islamic education which is meaningful learning, then also see how the learning motivation, and how the influence of learning styles of learning motivation of the young gifted students. This research is a mixed study using a sequential explanatory approach. The sample of this study is the children of the young gifted students at Elementary education level, which focuses on Islamic learning. This research was conducted in two different places, namely in urban areas and in rural school areas. Researchers used a purposive sampling technique to get a number of samples, based on the technique were used, obtained by 108 students participating, with 57 students from urban school areas and 51 students from rural school areas based on the grades given by the teacher. Two types of instruments have been used in this study, namely questionnaires relating to learning styles and student motivation, as well as in-depth interview guides. The questionnaire uses a Likert scale of 5 with a Cronbach alpha value of 0.81 for the learning style questionnaire and 0.79 for the student learning motivation questionnaire. Data analysis in the form of descriptive statistics such as mean, frequency, percentage, standard deviation, min and max, and inferential statistics such as simple regression and independent sample t-test was used to answer the question of the study. The results show that the learning styles of the young gifted students in Islamic learning are very varied and good, both urban and rural school areas. Motivational results also show very good results where students feel motivated by meaningful learning both in urban school areas and rural school areas. Furthermore, further analysis shows the significant influence of student learning styles on student motivation. Independent sample t-test also shows that there are differences in the mean of students' learning styles and motivation among students who study in urban areas and students who study in rural areas, which have higher motivation and learning styles in urban students compared to students who study in rural areas. Lastly, researchers hope that further research will examine the Indonesian young gifted students, especially research, such as learning styles with student learning outcomes, or motivation towards learning outcomes, which focus on Islamic learning with the implementation of meaningful learning.
Tujuan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini untuk memotret perilaku sosial masyarakat Bengkulu terhadap penggunaan media sosial sebagai diseminasi informasi, bimbingan pribadi-sosial dan deradikasisasi. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan pada tahun 2020 di provinsi Bengkulu. Sampel berjumlah 400 responden. Pengumpulan data menggunakan skema mobile survey, melalui proses deep interview dan kuisioner via mobile. Analisis data menggunakan aplikasi survey (alvara-analytic). Hasil kegiatan pengabdian diperoleh temuan (1) Masyarakat melek digital, potret sikap dan perilaku masyarakat menunjukkan bahwa mereka aktif menggunakan media sosial sebagai sarana berbagi informasi melalui pemanfaatan fitur-fitur yang ada untuk menyebarkan informasi; (2) Penggunaan dan diseminasi media sosial efektif dapat membimbing masyarakat (pribadi-sosial) terhadap pembentukan sikap dan perilaku dalam cegah tangkal paham radikalisme. Kegiatan pengabdian diperoleh kesimpulan indeks potensi radikalisme di Provinsi Bengkulu pada tahun 2020 berada dalam kategori rendah, hal ini menandai bahwa masyarakat mampu dengan baik menggunakan media sosial sebagai deradikalisasi.�The purpose of this community service is to photograph the social behavior of the Bengkulu people towards the use of social media as information dissemination, personal-social guidance and deradicalization. This service activity was carried out in 2020 in Bengkulu province. The research sample amounted to 400 respondents. Data collection uses a mobile survey scheme, through a deep interview process and questionnaires via mobile. Data analysis using survey application (alvara-analytic). The results of the service activities obtained findings: (1) Digital literacy communities, portraits of people's attitudes and behavior indicate that they are actively using social media as a means of sharing information through the use of existing features to disseminate information; (2) The effective use and dissemination of social media can guide the community (personal-social) towards the formation of attitudes and behavior in preventing radicalism. The service activities concluded that the index of potential for radicalism in Bengkulu Province in 2020 was in the low category, this indicates that the community is able to properly use social media as deradicalization.
Berdasarkan kenyataan-kenyataan tersebut diatas, tentu saja perlu dilakukan upaya-upaya perbaikan, salah satunya adalah melakukan reorientasi penyelenggaraan pendidikan melalui manajemen peningkatan mutu berbasis sekolah. Salah satu programnya adalah pembuatan komite sekolah. Komite sekolah merupakan salah satu bentuk partisipasi masyarakat dalam peningkatan mutu pendidikan. Untuk lebih memahami peran serta, tugas, fungsi dan pengertian dari komite sekolah itu sendiri maka dibuatlah makalah ini. Adapun rumusan masalah yang mendasari pembuatan makalah ini adalah: (1) Bagaimana konsep manajemen berbasis sekolah sebagai manajemen peningkatan mutu? (2)Bagaimana peran serta masyarakat dalam peningkatan mutu pendidikan? (3) Apa saja bentuk peran serta masyarakat dalam peningkatan mutu pendidikan? (4) Apa pengertian dari komite sekolah? (5) Apa saja fungsi dan tujuan dari pembuatan komite sekolah? (6) Apa peran komite sekolah dalam peningkatan mutu pendidikan?. Dalam konsep manajemen berbasis sekolah sebagai peningkatan mutu pendidikan, sekolah harus bekerja sama dengan orangtua, pemerintah, dan masyarakat dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan. Salah satu bentuknya adalah peran serta masyarakat dalam meningkatkan mutu ialah membentuk komite sekolah yang bertujuan untuk mewadahi dan menyalurkan aspirasi dan prakarsa masyarakat dalam melahirkan kebijakan dan program pendidikan di satuan pendidikan. Komite sekolah memiliki peranan yaitu pemberi pertimbangan, pendukung, baik berupa dukungan finansial, pemikiran, dan tenaga, dan perannya dalam penyelenggaraan pendidikan yang diantaranya sebagai agen pengontrol dan mediator.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengembangan kecerdasan emosional (EQ) Daniel Goleman pada anak usia dini dalam tinjauan pendidikan islam, perkembangan kecerdasan emosional anak dari masa pranatal hingga masa remaja awal, kecerdasan emosional sangat berperan dalam kehidupan anak, yang juga berperan besar dalam menentukan keberhasilan anak di masa yang akan datang. Kecerdasan emosional merupakan bentuk pengendalian diri dan cara berinteraksi dengan orang lain yang harus dimiliki oleh anak sejak dini. Daniel Goleman merupakan pakar kecerdasan emosional yang telah banyak melakukan penelitian, dengan hasil anak yang memiliki kecerdasan emosional lebih sukses dibandingkan anak yang tidak memiliki kecerdasan emosional, kontrol diri dalam kecerdasan emosional sangat diperlukan, kontrol diri merupakan suatu bentuk kesabaran, sikap sabar, peduli terhadap sesama (empati), dan tidak mudah menyerah (motivasi ) sangatlah penting dalam pendidikan islam, oleh karena itu agar penelitian ini mendapatkan hasil yang maksimal diperlukan adanya landasan agama dalam mendidik anak. <span>This study aimed to see how students' motivation and understanding of the concept of Islamic religion in students in rural and urban areas. This research uses mixed-method research. Qualitative data will be supporting data for quantitative data. The sample of this study consisted of 87 students and eight teachers in urban and 99 students and eight teacher rural Islamic elementary school students with random sampling technique. Instrument in the study used a questionnaire for motivation with a Likert scale of 4 and a test for understanding the concept of Islam. In this study, there are two types of data analysis used, namely quantitative analysis using descriptive statistics (mean, standard deviation, and category), and inferential statistics (independent sample t-test) using the SPSS 21 application, for qualitative using reducing analysis, analyzing, and interpreting findings from Miles and Huberman. The findings of this study illustrated that motivation was good (M=2.88, SD=0.78) and understanding of student concepts (M=81, SD=0.77) was good too, but in rural areas are better than in urban areas. This finding has implications that the challenges of Islamic religion in urban areas are greater for students. The novelty in this study is the implicit finding of this study that external factors (school social environment, community social environment, family environment) have a major influence on motivation and understanding of Islamic religious concepts.</span>
