The Covid-19 pandemic has caused sudden changes in the social aspect. Thus, it requires schools as one of the social systems that have important and interrelated functions to hurry to change and adapt to prepare human schools for the new normal era. Based on these reasons, this research aims to identify social changes and impacts that occur in the new normal era and to analyze from the sociological perspective of Talcott Parsons' theory of functionalism. This research is descriptive qualitative research with the method of collecting data from library research (library research) from various sources and references. The results obtained are based on Talcott Parsons' sociological theory, to be successful in dealing with social change and to create human schools in the new normal era, it requires the involvement and collaboration of all relevant parties such as schools and their staff, the government and the curriculum to collaborate well with each other and promote the AGIL principle. namely Adaptation, Goal, Integration, and Latent pattern maintenance.
