Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh keterampilan guru dalam mengelolaan kelas terhadap prestasi belajar IPS siswa kelas IV di MIS Nurul Falah. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif data yang terkumpul dalam penelitian ini dapat dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis statistik. Populasi penelitian siswa kelas IV MIS Nurul Falah sebanyak 42 siswa, yang terbagi menjadi dua yaitu kelas IVA terdiri dari 21 siswa dan kelas IVB terdiri dari 21 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah statistik dengan menggunakan metode one group pretest dan postest design dengan instrumen penelitian menggunakan tes dan lembar angket. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah statistik deskriptif dengan cara membandingkan nilai rerata prestasi belajar IPS dari kelompok eksperimen dan kontrol. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan signifikan prestasi belajar IPS antara kelompok eksperimen dan kontrol di mana nilai rerata kelompok eksperimen lebih tinggi daripada kelompok kontrol. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan nilai rerata pretest dan rerata postest pada kelompok eksperimen yaitu 74,8 dan 82,7 lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan nilai rerata pretest dan rerata postest kelompok kontrol yaitu 71 dan 72,4. Peningkatan hasil belajar berdasarkan nilai N-Gain kelompok eksperimen lebih tinggi daripada kelompok kontrol pada kategori sedang yaitu 43% dan 24%. This research was motivated by the fact that local content curriculum development in schools, was not yet optimal. This research aimed to evaluate local content curriculum development of elementary schools in Meulaboh. The main problem of this research was how the evaluation results of the development of local curriculum in Meulaboh Elementary School. This research was evaluated study using quantitative models. Evaluation is done by collecting information in the form of data component of curriculum development to then analyzed average percentage aspect by using descriptive analysis. The instruments used were questionnaires, and document observation sheets. The population consisted of 6 schools pilotting Curriculum 2013 and respondents consisted of 6 headmasters, and 19 teschers were chosen using purposive sampling technique. The results of the research indicate that: the condition of curriculum development categorized good category (59%). The results showed that over all components of the evaluation in the evaluation of each aspect of good category.
This study aims to examine the application of the sociodrama method in Bungong Jeumpa Kindergarten in Malin Kundang's story about the formation of children's behavior. The type of research used is classroom action research with a quantitative design. The results showed that the application of the sociodrama method to the formation of children's behavior in the first cycle, teacher activities obtained an average number of 3 with high categories (75%), student activities obtained an average number of student activities of 2.5 medium categories (63%) , the average student discipline is 2.5 medium category (63%). Cycle II, the average teacher activity is 3.61 with the high category (87.5%) student activity obtaining an average number of student activities of 3.35 in the high category (84%) and the average number of student disciplines being 3.45 in the high category (86%). The Shiddiq indicator increased by 20%. Patience increased by 18.75%, Fairness increased by 20%, Sincerity increased by 20%, Trustworthiness and Keeping Promises increased by 20%. Meanwhile, the answer achievement increased by 25%. Overall, children's behavior increased by 20.625%. Keywords: sociodrama method, malin kundang story, noble character, children's behavior
The present study was driven by the conditions of students and teachers encountering challenges while implementing integrated thematic learning, notably during the online classroom activities. This study aimed at identifying the planning, implementation, and evaluation of integrated thematic learning. Mixed Methods were employed as the research design. The class teachers (thematic teachers) and headmaster of MIN Kota Banda Aceh were recruited as the investigative participants. Quantitatively, the data were collected through questionnaire administration based on Likert. Qualitatively, interviews were performed to gain more qualitative data. The participants were the thematic teachers and the headmasters of MIN 11 and 6 Banda Aceh. The findings reported that the thematic teachers of MIN 11 and 6 were able to design lesson plans effectively. Although the COVID 19 forced them to implement and evaluate integrated thematic learning online, they could perform them well. In particular, they argued that the activities were very good (55%) and good enough (44%). On the other hand, the teachers of MIN 6 and 11 faced challenges while actualizing thematic learning. Those challenges were encountered when the participants began their learning experiences of teaching in the post-pandemic.
The Covid-19 pandemic has caused sudden changes in the social aspect. Thus, it requires schools as one of the social systems that have important and interrelated functions to hurry to change and adapt to prepare human schools for the new normal era. Based on these reasons, this research aims to identify social changes and impacts that occur in the new normal era and to analyze from the sociological perspective of Talcott Parsons' theory of functionalism. This research is descriptive qualitative research with the method of collecting data from library research (library research) from various sources and references. The results obtained are based on Talcott Parsons' sociological theory, to be successful in dealing with social change and to create human schools in the new normal era, it requires the involvement and collaboration of all relevant parties such as schools and their staff, the government and the curriculum to collaborate well with each other and promote the AGIL principle. namely Adaptation, Goal, Integration, and Latent pattern maintenance.
